I have not had a chance to ride my Valk much in the last few years.  I finally got out for a ride tonight!  Boy, She ran sweet!!!  My years of "proper" storage techniques paid off!!

I have the "piggies" cut off, and drilled the baffles years ago. I had forgotten what a PERFECT combo that is! Mellow in 5th gear putting around, but keep it in "race gear".....and the bike sounds like a small Ferrari!!

Most fun I have had all Summer. Amazing how you tend to love the things you have missed, even more......

Simple really-the wind missed you and you got reacquainted with her.  :cooldude: Werx out sometimes after a long layoff tween rides!  :coolsmiley: And the real beauty of it is-Shesready when you is!  ;) RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

The emperor has no clothes

You should try to make time for some riding. It's good for you.  :)

Not sure If I wish to start THIS debate again here......

Lets just say I am a firm believer in "carb draining", when She is laid up for extended periods...... ;)    Full tank of premium fuel with Sta-bil.  Pretty much, that is it!!  I have had no carb related problems whatsoever.

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Led , I do not know where in Wisconsin you hale from. On Sunday morning , the 26th , there is a group of riders putting on the feed bag at the Cabin at RT173 and Wilmot road west of Antioch Illinois. 9:00 am and I was told it is a two for one breakfast. I will be there if my wife is able to join me for  the ride.
