As you all know we are in a Drought here in SoCal

So I took part in the SoCal watersmart offer for a rebate to change out my front yard to a more drought friendly landscaping.
Here is the before picture.

I got approved for the rebate and will get 2 dollars per square foot. I did spent more than I was going to get but I had them do a lot extra including a complete drip system and I use 7 yards of rock.

Looks good Dave, now it will be really easy to see/pick the weeds.

Ya Gary, I put down a weed killer before the rocks and I usually take a look at my yard a few times a week. I just hit any weeds I see with some weed killer and it works quite well. I do the same in my back yard and I rarely get any weeds. If it weren't  for  my son needing the lawn mower for doing the neighbors lawns I would put it up for sale.
