1948.....the '49 grill looked almost the same except it was wider. They added more "teeth" on the ends. I'd love to find an old fast back model, then do a resto-mod on it.  My bed would probably be moved to the garage if I did.

I have several books on the BRP. My favorite is the book that explains how the BRP came to be in the first place with numerous pictures of what they went through getting it done at all.
