When you were running this strip were you nationally syndicated? To me anyway it has a vague familiar ring. In the time frame you mentioned it running I was still driving over the road 18 wheeler and made a point of getting a newspaper every day no matter where in the U S of A I was at the time. And the strip do crack me up!  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

Sadly no. It only ran in the Texarkana Gazette. I was trying to get syndicated, but never made it. I ran it for two and a half years as a daily to demonstrate to the syndicates that I could produce, day in and day out.

This obviously ran close to Valentine's Day. Doc is the typical male, waiting until the last minute, or beyond.

Some variation of this ran on every Valentine's Day.

Mr. Troff was often "ethically challenged."

This was why Edward stayed with Doc for a while. It's when Doc got hooked on video games.

In previous strips, Miss Chickadee had a garage sale and forced Edward to sell some of his copious toys. He and Harold Troff hatched a plan for Harold to buy all of it, then sell it back to Edward for the same price. Harold's father showed his son the error of his ways.

I don't remember for sure, but this may have proceeded Miss Chickadee's vacation. She and Doc were talking about Edward staying with Doc while she was gone.
