Thinkin' real hard on this one... I haven't had a Stogie in years! I'm heading for TN tomorrow to ride with the Wild Bunch, BRRRRRRRRRR! After that, I'll be in NC for a few days, then heading towards FL. Weather will dictate my actual route and timing, but... If the karma is perfect and I hold my mouth just right... who knows! You've been warned!

If I make it, you bet there will be a New Years hug for ya!!! But, as SmokinJoe says, "It's weather dependent."  It would take more than a hug and Stogie to get be out in nasty stuff nowadays!

Likewise... The FL group was once very, very special to me... I think of y'all often, and I marvel at how you all have managed to keep things going in such fine fashion... Lots of new faces now, but that's the sign of a healthy organization... I do hope some of the 'old timers' can make it too. Whatever, I know I'll be glad to see all of y'all... if I make it, that is...

our route:    HWY 44 - 17 - 40 - 19 - 316 - 27 - 235 into Alachua

picking up Pete around 9:30ish at 44/Kepler Rd., be at 17/40 around 10:10, 316/27 around 11:40ish. 
I want to go a different way.  if you want to meet up let me know & we'll keep a eye out for ya.

Hmmmmm... I've been watching the weather forecast closely all week... and it keeps getting worse! Hate to be perceived as a wimp, but... I reckon that's what I be... Maybe another time... DD, that hug will be put on hold to be paid later on... if you still want it by then...

Hate to miss this, but I also don't ride much in rain these days... risky business sharing the road with others who don't understand they need to make allowances for slick road surfaces, etc. Oh well...

Thanks for letting me know, I was worried about you coming in the rain.  I don't like the rain either, but never really did.  The weather has been crazy, seems it's only raining on the weekends? 
I'll be watching the weather close tomorrow and make my mind up about going then.  so far looking like it's not coming in till after 3pm, but we all know it can change.    
As far as a hug, I'll take as many as I can get and anytime from you.    Be safe out there and we'll see you before the end of the yr.
