Start reading the reviews, lots of people storing it in saddlebags other than Harley, like this one -  "I wasn't sure they would but they fit perfect in the saddlebags I bought. I have Vikingbags and these were designed for the Harley bags but any bag with that similar shape will accommodate them just fine"

I use one in my Interstate. It's not a perfect fit but it does take up useless space at the back of the saddle bag. I have used it on three long trips and it has worked well. I got mine from JP cycle near Daytona FL. It seals up well with no gas smell.

Not perfect?

A tad loose or it has to be s q u e e z e d in to the bag?

I carried one in the trunk of my trike until I recently installed a belly tank.

It's a quality product. I never had any problem with leakage even including times that it slid around when not tied down.

I wish I had installed a belly tank a long time ago. It sure beats stopping at every gas station when you're riding with guys who only have to fill up every other time I do.

I will be using a slab of foam to the side of mine to stop it jiggling around.

Doesn't fit perfectly into the slope of the back of the saddlebag but close enough.

I only use mine on long trips 7-800 miles and with all the other stuff in there no need for foam they ain't movin

No...  thank you!  When I saw this thread I immediately ordered one.  A 5000 mile trip to San Diego taught me not only how thirsty this beast can be but also how few and far between gas stations are in the desert southwest.  My saddlebags will be sporting a pair of these next trip.

You can always tie or bungi a 2 gal one off your luggage.
