Saturday 6th RTE at Woody's ***UPDATE***

My worst fear of posting rides has come true.

I will not be able to make it because of work, just got scheduled into a 12 hour shift that I cannot back out from.

This is the reason why I usually have to wait until Thursday afternoon to confirm my rides, I jumped the gun thinking that it would be a great opportunity to ride south and now I am paying for it.

Have a friend that has been raving about Woody's River Roo in Ellenton, so I think it is time to go check things out.

Also, think Mr. Sheffjs has to stay close to home this coming weekend so maybe we can bring the party down to his hood and kill two birds with one stone

Depending on who says they are coming, we could meet somewhere in Brandon and ride down otherwise I would come down via 62 and we can just meet there.

Lets say kick the tires at 11:00 and lunch thereafter.

 This is s great destination Jack, especially on the bikes (depending on where you are coming from)There is separate motorcycle parking much of which is shaded. There is plenty of dining space outdoors as well as some indoors. There is a separate bar and also a waterside bar with tables and huts where you can eat too. They usually have bands on the weekends. It's been a while, if I remember correctly the food is good. I used to frequent this place when I first bought my Valkyrie, it may have changed owners since then. I don't know of any good riding in the area, just familiar with the destination.
Jerry should know of this place, it's in his stomping grounds.

Yes 7 miles from us in "Palmgetto".  My back went out Monday       It has been over a decade since my back went out bad like this. At least we all know what to expect.

I'm slowly getting better and can either cage it or see if my back can deal with the 1500 for the short ride.   Don, are you sure I'm not the old fart?

I really want to ride and I am going to see where I am tomorrow and check the updated weather. So if the moon and stars line up I will go up to the cottage.
