InZane Germany was the first Valkyrie motorcycle rally.  We adopted the name for our rally.

Not quite accurate, Marcus.

The annual VRCC gatherings began at Zaneville, Ohio in the year 2001.  As a play on the name of the gathering place they were called Inzanes.  In 2004 the gatherings were moved away from Zanesville but the catchy name was retained.

InZane takes place each summer and is a grand place for VRCC members to gather and meet one another.

A European gathering also takes place each year on the east side of the Atlantic.  They have adopted the name Inzane as a result of the perceived relationship to the North American gathering.
