Dark front side ?

Already double dark in the rear................. Why not go dark upfront on my trike?
Now I run a Dunlop rear mounted backwards up front. Supposed to last longer this way.
But, due to the nature of the trike steering why not do a darkside upfront ......??

Let me give this a go. If you were to remove your front tire and set the bike down on the fork tubs it would sit flat on both ends. On a car the axis of rotation from side to side is more vertical but not on your bike even thou its a trike.  Now of you were to turn the fork to either side only one tub would be touching the ground. if you were to put a car tire on the front and turn the handlebars, you would be raising one side of the tire greatly reducing the friction that the tire is exerting on the ground to turn the bike. In other words you are going 40 mph and expecting it to turn only to find out you are still going straight. Bad Idea.

      I don't know ship about Darkside on the front, but I do know that's a nice looking trike. You should post a few more pictures

   You make a good point.
  Consider ; At higher speed there is very little steering to do.
  Lower speeds, powering through turns, the trike has more lean outward to counter the "uneven   forks" to a certain degree.
( It is not something I would rush into doing as I am not done living yet. )

I'm thinking it simply would look funny.  And what would fit.  Way more than a nut mod?

The Dunlop E3s go (last) longer than any tires (for Valks).  I don't like them.  But if I had a trike that can't fall down, I might use one on the front.

I tried a rear bias on the front, reversed on the wheel on my bike (Avon).  It wasn't very good at all, and didn't give me that many more miles. (maybe 1-2K more)

If you're talking about a car tire on the front..... never mind.
