Ok so I'm a copy cat but when you have a good idea, I decided to copy you, really like the swing arm chrome covers. Pic doesn't do justice to it and What was I saying about the black

Wax and detail spray add depth to the paint but its the same. Also this I just took today and its bright sun and its a bit dirty. Will take a better pic and maybe replace this one. Thanks by the way

Cool dude!   Looks great...but would you LOSE them ugly side covers??   Have them painted the same color as the bike man...

WRONG Kidd!  What is wrong with you man?  The red is killer no doubt...but the blue is stunning...As Bob said...if you POLISH it with right products...it adds distinct depth...and the metal flake jumps out at you...AND...using the stuff as shown below...really brings out the purple in that blue paint..You know you have it highly polished when you begin to see that slight hue of purple.

Use THIS STUFF DUDE...exactly the same stuff as depicted here.  This by far the most amazing, one step spray wax ever made...(that I know of)...you can use it on EVERYTHING...including cleaning the windshield...

Trying to picture them painted the same color, dam, really, I mean really? You mean I may have to do another thing, will you please stop suggesting stuff.

I was going to do the same thing...  There is a place on line...that sells the exact same paint that is on these new Valks...but it's very expensive...all told it would have cost me nearly $400 having them professionally painted at an auto body shop.   I got the chrome covers for about $200.00.  I like the chrome ones, but I think the bike would look better if they were painted the same color as the tank and fenders.  Either choice though is far better then the stock ones...I hate them!

I needed some touch up paint so we have a commercial auto paint store here. I went in with the bike and they matched the paint pretty good. The paint on these is a 3 stage paint but I bought it as a 2 stage so you have a base and clear. It cost me about 50.00 bucks for a piint of the paint and the clear in a can. I tried the paint code in this store and they did not have a listing which is why they had to match the paint. I would think you could get the covers done cheaper just try another place. I will look and see if I can find any other place to buy the paint from. The prep and paint on the covers shouldnt be bad at all.
