Monday and Tuesday had a bit of a relapse. Had to get a script for nausea, and you all know what those potent pain killers do to your system. Nothing moves.  >:(  Got that cleared up finally, today was quite good...ate a couple good meals, exercised and rested. Here's hoping tomorrow is even more upbeat. The nurses have been good, today they removed the surgical bandage....not a fun time. The physical therapist was something else. The first one was one ditzy broad so asked for a different one. She came yesterday and worked with me for an hour. How can someone so little be so mean?  ;D

It won't be long and you will be mounting that bike and this will be in the past.

But, suck it up cupcake sounds better.  :2funny:

Yep, masochists tend to gravitate to certain jobs.  Physical therapy is just one of them.

Sounds to me like your symptoms are more medication driven than surgery driven.  It better not be post op infection.  Any fever?

I can't lose my medical license, I never had one.

Therapy is rough, went through that a couple years ago after my crash, would feel pretty good until the therapist came, then felt like i regressed a week or so. She kept saying no pain, no gain.   With any luck I will be riding about the same time as you.  Getting over a severe bronchial infection and mild pneumonia. Have had 10 shots in the rear end in the last few days and drugs that have me dizzy most of the time.  I at least have started to breathe normally today, but still using an inhaler .

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Wow Bill.  :(     Sure hope you feel better as well.

Geez Bill, ten shots in the ass. Makes me pucker just to think about it, where did they find room for all that?  ;)  I disagree with the saying "no pain, no gain"....much prefer "no pain, no pain."

When she said she was a certified PT, I thought "yeah, certified in handing out pain."  Sweet gal, reminds me of Bernadette on Big Ban Theory. One exercise she had me do was lay on the bed with my knees up and raise the hips, sort of a dry hump if you will. After a couple reps, my ornery wife put her hand on my knee and told me I was wasting good effort. The PT just looked at her, then stifled a giggle.

Finally got the appetite back so things are looking up.

There's a saying in yoga: "The pose begins when you're ready to get out of it". Feel familiar John?
