I bought a pair to use on an I/S. The quality of the chrome is a 6 or 7 at best out of 10. I haven't used them because despite the fact that they are supposed to be for a metric bike, the threads are SAE and I don't want to drill out the mounting holes.

Do a search for Harley Deuce risers.  I bought a used set in really good shape with the deuce handlebars for $50 back in June.  They were about 8.5-9 out of 10.  Sold the bars for $25.  As far as drilling the triple tree, it's not that big of a deal.  The Valk risers use 12mm studs and the Harley risers use 1/2" (12.7mm).  Get a 1/2" drill bit for a 3/8 drill and you'll have it done in less than a minute.  You're slightly enlarging the hole.

If you order Duece risers from J&P Cycles, they have them in metric and SAE bolt mounts.

Hi!!  Merry Christmas to everybody.  I purchased a set of the spacer style for my I/S.  Easy install and no drilling.  They added just enough pull back to make the bars just right for me.  Since they are a spacer style, they might not look as good on a Standard or Tourer, but on the I/S they do GREAT for me.

I have the spacer type too although not purchased on ebay.  Originally they were used on my Shadow but work on my Valk Standard too.  The cables are to their max stretch.  Any more and I would have to change cables.
Thanks,

Don't forget that we have at least one case of a set of knock-off Deuce risers that have cracked. Be carefull of the really cheap prices.

One of the reasons I went with genuine HD.

Get good used ones on ebay.  Usually $25 - $50.  Quality is much better.

i bought those risers you are talking,
about on ebay , got them did not want to drill out holes, besides they did not look very good, sent them back and they never would return my money or the risers, ebay had to step in  and

resolve problem, ebay repaid me because the seller ripped me off, then i bought the extensions

I had the exact same experience!. Also, the risers have a square base, and dont fit the round reces on the triple tree!
