Trying new photo hosting site. Both pictures were in Yellowstone, the second one was in the geysers near West Thumb.  The elk had walked into the geyser and seemed to be annoyed by the smell or noise and took off running into the crowd.  There were signs all over that said don't get too close to the animals.  I guess it was ok for the animals to get close to you. :)

Terry, care to divulge the site you used for your pics? I've tried a couple but unsuccessfully.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

What Grumpy said John. Sorry I was away all morning from the computer.  Replacing some plywood on the shop and repainting those parts.  Whew, I should have picked another day.  Almost had a heat stroke.
I picked the link up from a post that Serk made in reply to someone looking for new photo hosting software on the main board.

Aha....there was a few steps missing Bill. Left click on the thumbnail pic you want to post and it should go to full size. Above it on the far left should say "share"..... left click that and you get a list of actions drop down. Second from the bottom is "hotlink for forums" which is what I used for this pic, click on the icon at the far right of that line and it will say "copied." Now, how do I transfer all my pics from Photobucket over to this site? Not sure I want to do all of them, time will tell.

Just tried a second pic. Sure wish that seat wasn't so hard, I'd use it all the time.

By golly I think you have it.  Here is an old military cannon that is used in Yellowstone to blast the snow from the mountains to make manmade slides so as not to have them when folks are driving through.  This is also where a rock about the size of a 2 lb. bag of sugar came tumbling down and I didn't see it soon enough and it hit the right rear wheel trim ring.  Nice dent now.

Old Faithful starting to erupt.
