Looks like this is going to be a total home run, thoughts?

I like either model better than what Honda has put out in recent years. The Tour looks more sporty without taking on the appearance of a crotch rocket. Lord knows we all need another "new?" crotch rocket buzzing around the highways and byways. However, if I had the $$ needed for a new Wing I'd probably buy an airplane.

If Sherry and I had infinite time to really travel I would find the coin, (after a full test drive that is)

I like it and I like it a lot, I think that Honda hit it out of the park with this revamp and the Goldwing might appeal a younger crown.

Seems like Honda finally gave riders a lot of the items they have been asking for a long time.
I like the slimmer look, removable trunk, the break of the bags (not a single unit with fender look), exhaust a little deeper tone, adjustable shield, 200mm rear tire, new front suspension, riding modes, standard GPS on all models, DCT transmission, cruise control, a few extra ponies, better mid range, blue tooth, etc, etc, etc......

On the other hand, a lot of electronics which meas possible things that may break and I have never liked the side open bags BUT having said that all good things far out weight the no so good.

We all know that the Honda Engineering is second to none so no questions there, I would definitely like to take it for a test ride a risky thing to do cause I might really like it and you know what happens then

Either way, I don't see myself getting a first year's production.

I like what I see so far, but it is unlikely that I will be buying either model in the foreseeable future, without a large infusion of cash, and the Harley Road Glide would have to come first. My custom '97 Valk will absolutely be the LAST to go down the road.

I would jump on one, really an improvement over past models. Sadly just more than I care to spend at my age.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

I was in Action Honda Wednesday and he said they will be selling them the end of January. They are already getting calls, people wanting to put down a deposit, he said no can do. Their hoping for demo rides :cooldude: :)

:cooldude: I like what I see in both models. I could see me riding one. I 'd get rid of my IS most likely and keep my 98 Tourer.  :coolsmiley:
