Hi Fellow Valkies.

What are the mounting hardwares that I need to mount the Valkyrie Custom 2-pieces Seats into the Interstates?
Or is it even feasible?
Please advise. :)
Thanks in advance.

Just two bolts for the front of passenger seat and on for the rear of said seat....I have a two piece on my IS.  Sorry don't remember sizes but can be bought at any hardware store.

Thank for the reply. :)
So you mean the rear seat is bolted to the rear fender and the front seat is hook to the front of the pillion seat?

No, the seats are independent of each other on the Standard/Tourer.

The rear of the drivers seat hooks to the metal slot thingy on the rear fender and the key lock at the front.  A S/T OEM drivers seat will be longer due to the larger I/S tank,  (or smaller S/T tank)  but with some extra force, it should fit.

The pillion seat bolts with 3 bolts (assuming your pillion has the brackets) which you will have to source from a hardware store or parts seller.

The Standard early drivers seat dropped right in and was a perfect fit, no force necessary.
Both seats, driver and passenger fit fine.

The one-peice Interstate seat has a tab that slips under the trunk that the 2-piece seats do not have.  In order to install a 2-piece seat on an Interstate, you have to use the rear fender bolt to hold down the back of the rear seat.  You will also have to use the mounting tabs at the front of the 2-piece seat to hold down the front of the rear seat.  There is already a mounting point for the front of the rear seat on the rear fender.  The front seat slips in like it would on a Standard/Tourer with the exception for the larger tank on the Interstate.
