Here is the real truth folks, regardless of what your stances/leanings are. The real issues at hand and what could/should be easily addressed and aggressively scrutinized and the main focus, is HOW and WHY are these shootings happening? How is it that easy to just walk into a school fully armed undetected, and notice how these shootings are happening in affluent areas and not inner city schools? So we have BLATANT failures of both the FBI and in particular the local law enforcement, they KNEW this kid was a bad egg about to crack. And now lets discuss who really has blood on their hands "in the Florida shooting"......the school district, the board, the superintendent. It's all due to politics folks and political correctness, and everyone is now terrified to speak out and or to actually take any action, due to potential lawsuits and such. As for the NRA who has "literally" never funded or killed any living soul, lets compare that to Planned parenthood who has "literally" killed and still killing at this very moment, and it is funded to do such. Where is the outrage, who is the voice for the countless innocents slaughtered each and every day and why isn't that a moral focus? Ya know....since it's all about the kids and such right? We have too many gun regulations as it is, and yes many of those which are effective are not being consistently enforced, there should be no "falling between the cracks". There are millions of AR15's in the hands of law abiding citizens "I am one of them", and we aren't the ones slaughtering innocent lives with them.

But the TRUTH is.......why the focus on scary black rifles, when they are only used about 1% of the time in any crime? Registration leads to confiscation, yet we have how many sanctuary cities giving asylum to criminals who aren't even supposed to be here, and too many are worried about guns? Kudos to these kids "well actually they are overwhelmingly adults", who are using their rights to peacefully protest.....but it is so misguided and HYPOCRITICAL. Inanimate objects don't kill on their own, the human element is always there........always. Yup some changes need to happen, but they most certainly are not towards firearms and the type of firearms. Personal accountability is the number one issue here, and there is much personal accountability in question. Lets also discuss the breakdown of families, there is most certainly a pattern to these shootings and that is at the top of the list. Adults are afraid to say something, kids are afraid to say something, anytime we see/hear of a suspicious person being suspicious......there are consequences.

When I was growing up in my hometown back in the 70's/80's/90's....divorce, out of wedlock pregnancy, drug use, violent crimes, school shootings......ALL UNHEARD OF. Now my hometown minus the school shootings, is totally overwhelmed by all of what I just mentioned. So here we are back to families failing, giving up, allowing their kids to be absolute heathens with no guidance or repercussions. My father told me as I also told my son, "I'm not your friend I am your Dad, but one of these days we can be both". So yeah I fully believe that as a society we are totally failing our kids, and the proof is in the pudding. If we all just did our job and duty, things would surely be better than they are now. Young minds are indoctrinated in schools and universities, and yes it is LIBERAL indoctrination and brain washing. We have 24/7 liberal biased/funded and focused media outlets, and we wonder why everything is so screwed up here? We somehow made it through 8 years of anti American propaganda and flat out treason, and we FINALLY have a president who gives a crap and trying to give this country back to the people. Yup he is plenty flawed, I actually like that a lot......he is REAL and he is the enemy of all the corrupt bureaucratic enemies within our own border. ANYONE that says we are not better now "under Trump" in many ways then we have been in a long time, is either in denial or totally blinded by hate and animosity. Drain that swamp, keep going after the irresponsible and unaccountable, and we all might just have a chance to truly MAGA. My rights trump feelings and emotions, it's time to get back to being a proud America again. Keep an eye on ole Barry, he is potentially more dangerous now than he was as president.....and he is ashamed of this country, he wants to burn it down.

I think we could be friends easily.  cooldude But this is something that the Liberals will never get behind because they love all this chaos. They love the fact that kids are getting murdered so they can push their agenda even further. If all the assaults and killings with guns stopped and everyone spoke the way they wanted without fear of being deemed politically incorrect the Democrat party would die.

Very well stated Motodad.  There are many reasons but at the fore front is pure cultural rot served up steaming every day from you know where.  By the way I like that Iron Pony / Pony Powersports over there in your town.

Yes that place gets me "regularly" in the doghouse with the wifey.  Grin We are no doubt being manipulated 24/7 by many seemingly innocent outlets, too many believe before actually thinking or investigating for themselves. This country is overwhelmed and plagued by emotions/feelings, than the much needed logic and common sense. Never make important decisions/actions when emotions are running high, that is the way of the left not the right. Personally I am more of a centrist, or a libertarian as some might call us.  Smiley How there is a mindset to blame inanimate objects over the actions of a human and free will, is simply beyond logical.  Blame anything and everyone other than the actual source and actual problem, THAT is how people control and dependency becomes rabid.

Facebook and Youtube are for parents and grandparents, the kids don't care for those so much, they're on Instagram, Kik, Snapchat, Wattpad, etc...

I wonder if that was the ribbed ones Grin

Facebook and YouTube may not be around forever either.

Or

How about
Snorting A Dead Guy’s Ashes

The merry men were pleasantly surprised when the nice middle-class home they were robbing had a not-so-secret stash of cocaine. It was in fancy jars and everything.

Their celebration quickly evaporated when they realized that the powdery substance was ashes, and the fancy jars were urns. The ashes belonged to two Great Danes and the homeowner’s father

So I just quickly looked at part of the site but got a question...

Are these ...used... condoms?

If you're stupid enough to snort condoms would it matter to the snorter if they are "used"?

You guys are right, we do see things differently.

Has not the stock market went up considerably the last few years with quite a few added jobs and 401K's gaining value, that is if you have one.

I just threw that # out there about gas but you know for a fact, we go into another stupid mid-east war that oil will go up and we all be paying quite a bit more for gas. To think otherwise is foolish.

Yes I think this president is a charlatan and a buffoon but I guess that's ok as long as he's a republican. And, robot Pence, I'm from Indiana and we were so glad to get rid of him. If there was ever a hypocrite.
Well, I am from Indiana and I am proud of him. You seem to think you are the only one from Indiana that counts. I thought he was the best. I voted for Trump knowing he had Pence. And I know a ton from Indiana that felt the same

And yet Indiana voted with a wide spread for the Trump/Pence ticket.  Apparently one of the two of them was very popular in Indiana.

I hope you're not still lending credence to the polls that indicated Hillary would be winning by a landslide.   Wink

probably so. I just linked that because I remember at the time he was named as Trump's VP pick, he had a lot of negatives against him in Indiana. It was widely held that he wouldn't run for Governor again because of that.

As you have stated many times, most voted against somebody. Not for somebody. It's quite conceivable that Clinton was more unpopular than Pence in Indiana. (I gave up thinking about Clinton's chances long ago)

My  point, by example, was that the polls that have spoken to the population at large have been proven more than once to be notoriously incorrect.  Come to think of it, so has the reporting media at large recently.

And you know this how? You don't live here. You have no idea. Indiana is one of a few states that are financially in the black, because of Pence and his predecessor Gov Danials. Indiana is doing well because of them. So why don't you stick to AZ politics and us Hoosiers will take care of Indiana. OK...

The article you linked said Pence's rating was low because of his stance on LGBT and abortion. In case you didn't know Indiana is a RED state so we tend to vote conservative.  Yes I get "touchy" about Indiana. I was born here and lived here all my life. I don't want to here dialog from someone who doesn't live here and knows nothing about us.  Oh I see that Arizona is a RED state as well. That must piss you off to no end....

2funny OMG ! No, I'm not pissed off. In case you didn't understand his rating in the linked article. IT WAS FROM INDIANA RESIDENTS. Apparently you must have some residents there who aren't drinking the Kool-Aid. I couldn't care less about Pence or Indiana for that matter. I just pointed out that not all were enamored with the fellow. (hear)

Let's put it this way. Pence is a very soft spoken man. He is a religious man. He sticks to what the bible says. He will not ever be in a room alone with a woman other than his wife. He has had this policy for as long as I remember. Everyone that hates him apparently does not know him. Don't  hate the man hat his politics if you must. He truly wants to do the best he can for the country, an attribute many politicians need to follow.

I don't know this at all. I never told you Hoosiers what to do. You seem a little touchy about Indiana.  Shocked

(hear)
Rob you once again are just trying to stir the crap pot....nothing more!

He will not ever be in a room alone with a woman other than his wife. He has had this policy for as long as I remember.

I admittedly thought he was a bit of a prude when I first heard about this, but after the whole #MeToo witch hunt, it seems like a much smarter policy now!

Contrary to what some think, I don't hate the guy at all. I do find him to set aside his morals frequently for political gain. I've been in many rooms with women without my wife there. Was not tempted to do something wrong. Hell, I've been in more than a few Strip Clubs and was able to control myself.

On a related matter, many times as court appointed counsel, I had to go into (often crowded) local and courtroom lockups to talk with my clients.  That was never a problem with men (everyone in there knows you are there to help a guy).  I only had to do that twice with female court appointments, and it scared the hell out of me going into their lockups.  Not only were some of them mean, violent and fairly psycho, some might try anything to get out of their predicament.  This goes way back to my earliest days.

Then there was the hooker who wanted to hire me on the courtroom steps, and pay me in the 3d floor men's or women's room.  (not even if I climbed completely inside a hefty bag) (you can't even count the number of ways that could go south, not to mention losing your license)  What I said was no I'm sorry but I'm too busy today.  Good luck now.

In those days, I did (legal) business with a few females where the door was never closed.  I had a number of violent male clients, and none of them thought attacking their own lawyer was a good plan.  And I'm pretty sure none of them ever even considered accusing me of attempted rape.

Admittedly, my clientele in those days was not as nice as most of yours, but no man (or woman) should ever forget that being alone in a room with the other gender always presents a degree of risk.

You must just be lucky no woman has accused you of sexual harassment.  But then again you're just a butcher not in the spotlight like many of the accused.  I Don't think it's a matter of controlling yourself.

As Gavin said, it's not about controlling oneself.  It's more about avoiding the appearance of wrong and protecting oneself against the accusation.  As one who attends Strip Clubs you may be one whose moral standards would interfere with your understanding.   Wink

I am in Indiana several times each week, usually, mainly Anderson, or Greensburg, and Topeka. In Topeka you are right at home with an Amish horse carriage.  VP Pence is very highly thought of in that state.  And along with Mitch Daniels have done some really good work for IN. We would be lucky in Ohio to have people of that caliber.

Only complaint I have is who is in charge of the potholes?

Since it’s been over 30 years since I’ve been in one, I think my understanding is just fine. Exactly how is the appearance of a man and woman in a meeting wrong ? And how is it one with such high moral standards is ok being partners with an admitted philanderer ?
