Most new valk riders "I think" are buying the old valks for their different old school look, and enduring dependability. Also their cheap price. Doubt many will want to invest thousands into a bike they payed under 5k for. There will be some, just not many.
I think that is what puzzles me most about our segment of the bike world. If one wants to have a custom bike and is drawn to the Valkyrie, why would a low entry price not be a plus when the foundation of the bike is so bulletproof so to speak? I guess I have to realize that many of the earlier bikes I speak of are now owned by people who have no interest in an internet site about Valkyries or they sit in the back to garages, forgotten and gathering dust due to the rider moving on to the latest and greatest. I hope there will be some great “barn finds” in the years to come for someone to bring back to life.
