Absolutely ridiculous, but some were hilarious. Especially the blue/white car at the end, it went end over end numerous times and then landed on all four wheels. The whole crowd applauded the landing it seems.  crazy2

I bet the death toll amongst spectators is way higher than drivers.

When I motocrossed in Japan the spectators were VERY close to the race course. I was watching an open class moto when the bike got sideways-literally-cause the onlookers had knobby tire marks on their bodies. Stacked the rider and the injured spectators in the ambulance like fire wood.  uglystupid2 Told the guys I raced with if any of us get hurt at the track we would hire a Taxi.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

There used to be some horrific accidents in the 80s before the FIA banned Group B rallying. The cars were over 500hp, believe it or not the sport is much safer now!!!

I realize the drivers are taking a chance but why do some of these people stand where they do?   crazy2    uglystupid2
