I went online and got a printout of all my contributions going back to 1951. Problem is, if there is any extra $300 earning credit given it doesn't show, they only list a lump figure for the years. I tested my patience twice by calling and being put on hold, held for 20 minutes both times and gave up. Guess I'll have to have them call me back as was offered, or go downtown in person and try to talk to someone. Didn't really want to do that but might be my best bet. I don't recall the subject of my military service coming up when I first applied twelve years ago. So, if I've been shortchanged the last dozen years, I wonder if I can get it as backpay for those 12 years. Wouldn't that be a hoot, roughly $14k+ would be nice. Frankly, it's too good to be true but I'd like that old phrase to not apply just once in my life.
