Thanks Y'all... I've seen those "naked goldwing" kits... even with big resources, you
can't really strip down a Goldwing... but now that Honda has done it for us, I
just couldn't resist. The problems the new Valkyrie has are fixable, even if
your workshop looks like mine  Wink ...

You work too much  Smiley ... I got it last July or so and have been
moaning about the silly handlebars ever since.

I saw you at the Fall Color Ride... I had the red bike there, I couldn't
ride the black bike any further than to the mailbox at that time...

Those are Corbin bags, but they call them Fleetliners, not Beetle Bags...

That is cool.  Nice looking bike.
I cant ride a black bike though.  Call it superstition, but I've had 2 black vehicles in my driving history.  They were both totalled by another driver hitting me.  And these are the ONLY 2 vehicles I have totalled.  And I was not at fault.
I've been kinda looking at the f6b vs goldwing if I get another bike.  F6b only gets 29 mpg though from what I read.  Thats a number that is hard to believe.

That is one nice set up.
I have been considering selling my valk and getting one of the new Valks.  I have seen them selling new for pretty cheap and it is tempting me.  I will put the Corbin seat on it like you did, windsheild and probably some other type of hard bags.  The Corbin ones are just too expensive.  I would also have to put risers on to bring the handlebars back more.

I'll probably be at InZane... and lots of other rides with VRCC people... there's a DAM ride in
Tennessee at the end of the month...

I should have included "windshield" in my Subject line. The above pictures
show it tilted back pretty well, but turbulent wind still hit the top
of my helmet. I fiddled with it this morning, tilted it back some more,
and now it is way better in several ways. The wind still hits the top
of my helmet, but I guess it is less turbulent, the whole feeling
of buffeting much improved, similar to the feeling of the normal
Valkyrie. The adjustment caused both improvement in ride
quality and the top of the shield is even lower than it was, I'm
looking way over it...  cooldude
