Interesting that Donald Duck is out polling Chis Christie.

For those voting None of the Above, who are your choices?  Anyone you want me to add to the poll?

Scott Walker does what he says that he will do and then doesn't back down, unlike many of the spineless ones we have in DC now ( and he has the backing of the people, IMO).

He also isn't an over educated lawyer BS'r and, with no degree, maybe that's what we need.

Apologies to OSS,  Smiley

I'm surprise a little bit that Ted Cruz is in second.

Not a Ted fan, but I do like most of what he says....but then again, I'm a fan of anyone that proposes to do away with the IRS and go with a flat tax or something similar.

I have not said anything in this poll because Trump is not on the list. I read all the objections and have this to say.

I hope it would not be just a show for him but we know who he is and what he has done. Unlike the present admin who we knew nothing about and is not even a US citizen. Trump has done many deals made his own money unlike most who run for office.

Hell every one voted O into office and we don't even know his educational records where hes been absolutely no qualification in business or any other area in life.

Trump does not have to answer to George Soros or have to bend to pressure to any special interest group. He has been harassed by gov and may have a feel for everyone who has.

Most candidates are career politicians and hell to even consider Hilda beast as a candidate is a disgrace a affront and a embarrassment to the US citizens with all the lies, deceits, shames, and Benghazi. Hell its embarrassing to even know that the powers that be would even think the US people would consider her.

We have a track record with Donald we have a man that has cut business deals and knows how to. He has more money than most here and has earned it. He can project and understand economy like no one else in how it effects people. Now if you think his business deals are shaky maybe you don't know business that well. I have seen some shady deals and if you read the articles posted on him you will see he actually gave up his interest in some companies that were not doing well. That move is something I have never seen a business man do that is money hungry. I cannot imagine those wall street types doing this when they know there is money to be made, oh wait wall street cut the deals made the money and then with the politicians we bailed them out. Carer politicians I might add in collusion with the Federal Reserve. Why from anyone in office today have we not heard a peep about this sham that was put on the people of the US?

If any member of congress did not vote against O care why are we still even considering anyone since they did not do their job and read and vote against this bill?

Most want to sign on to Trumps name for that alone you get a lot of scum that are hangers on. The offers you get from these types come every day and they want to use you and your money and position. I believe he cares enough about this country to take a chance to sacrifice all he has to try to run and make this country great. If you don't like all his views I ask what candidate do you like all their views? What do we know for sure about how each candidate will perform once in office? Do we want men with business experience as chief executive or someone who never put their own balls on the line to get something accomplished? Do we want a unknown or do we want someone with a track record in life? I am tired of the powers that be, offering their own warmed over choices. I want a change, like the good one that was promised for O. I don't want the other side of the same coin in office. God we need it and we have tried unknowns including Clinton both flavors, or Bush that has a history of father and brothers and are all under a common goal from the father. Wake up we argue over different sides of the same coin maybe its time to try to get someone who is not under the controlling powers thumb. Congress except for a few have become a spineless gutless body with favors and bad deals for the American public while lining their own pockets. So who would you vote for that did not bow down to special interests or cronies in gov to get things accomplished?

Trump has not been in bed as much as most in congress to accomplish things. He has done it by the law not by cutting special interest deals to satisfy constituents. So as you boo hoo Trump and not put him on this list I would at least hope you would tell me how many of the other candidates you listed do we have as much history and performance record on. How have they performed when asked to stand alone and who have they promised what to for their office? I hope this is just a rant and Im wrong but I dont think so Show and Tell should not be after they get into the White House we should have confidence in who we elect.

Another issue outside of the shutdown itself is the myth that congress is exempt from buying their health insurance through the health insurance marketplace. Just like everyone else members of congress and their staff must purchase their coverage through the small businesses part of the health insurance marketplace.

Although Congress will have to purchase their insurance through ObamaCare’s health insurance exchange like millions of other Americans they can choose any plan they wish. So while a typical American may only be able to afford a basic plan members of Congress will be able to choose the most expensive plans and pay the 40% excise tax that comes on the backs of these plans.

For the first time in history, more than half the members of the House and Senate are now millionaires, according to a new analysis of financial disclosure reports filed last year.

The median net worth for lawmakers in the House and Senate was $1,008,767 — up 4.4 percent, according to the analysis, conducted by the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics, which examines the influence of money on politics in Washington.

Cruz's admission comes one day after CNN first reported that the senator would no longer have access to health benefits through his wife's employer, Goldman Sachs. Heidi Cruz, a managing director at the firm's Houston office, has gone on unpaid leave for the duration of the senator's presidential campaign and will not have access to the company's benefits during that time.

Cruz's campaign appeared caught by surprise Monday by questions about the senator's health care. Asked how Cruz's family would be covered after his wife lost her Goldman Sachs benefits, Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler repeatedly answered that he didn't know.

Yes, but doesn't it seem very ironic that a person who has been badmouthing obamacare would go on obamacare ?

Q: Is it true that there are bills in Congress that would exempt members and their staffs and families from buying into “Obamacare”?

A: No. Congress members and staffers will be required to buy insurance through the exchanges on Jan. 1.

A person of his worth can surely afford to purchase insurance on their own. I believe his wife could get COBRA for the time she is on leave. Evidently the irony is not felt by everyone  Roll Eyes

Of course he could afford real insurance. I took this as a symbolic act of shared suffering, that while the people are being subjected to the horrors of Obamacare, he refuses to not subject himself to it as well...

Isn't the best way to understand the pros and cons of the liar in chiefs policy to sign up for it? AND THEN use it.

Seems blindingly obvious.
