I used cycletrader mostly to show the comparable value of my bike.

all Interstates, not jus' my model year, as comps. I'd do the same for Standard or Tourer. For aftermarket "goodies" you don't necessarily hafta show receipts, but you will hafta show the comps for what they're selling for now.
