"Not even God himself could sink this ship.”
— Employee of the White Star Line, at the launch of the Titanic, May 31, 1911
God was not an iceberg, and I'll give the benefit of the doubt that you did not mean to imply He wiped out 1500 souls on the Titanic to spite one man's arrogance.
Don't challenge God
Can't really help it. I was cursed or blessed with free will.
And which one? And before we go off on the "There can be only one" thing...remember that the fact that I don't believe in another man's god...doesn't mean that god (or his deluded servant if you prefer) isn't a threat if I just "don't believe".
I am surrounded by other men's gods demanding battle. The worst of them is currently $$. Some of them would have killed me long ago if I didn't challenge them.
It may help to note when or when I do not capitalize the term....though...when and if someone does, one must still wonder which one is their god and how I may be required to do battle it him/her/it today.
