i've only had my valk for about 6 weeks or so, i've put about 2500 miles on it, rode from central iowa to red wig minn. a couple weeks ago and followed the river down to prairie du chien wi and then back to brooklyn. i really enjoyed the trip and it was on this trip that i made up my mind to upgrade the seat on my valk... my issue with the stock seat was largely that my knees rode higher than my hips and it required that i lift my legs just to put my feet down... not cool and certainly not a smooth maneuver after a hundred miles or so in the saddle so i knew i was going to have to do something if i was going to truly enjoy the bike. i ordered the king with backrest from ultimate seats, i also got the pillion seat as my daughter really enjoys riding with me but she broke her tailbone while being a dork with her friends (her words) and after an hour or so she is uncomfortable...
well anyway it arrived today and i installed it right away, i only had time for a quick 10 minute ride but i am thrilled about being able to simply put my feet down w/o having to lift my legs just to get my feet off/clear of the pegs

i should add that i'm 6'5'' and 290ish with a 35.5" inseam... my biggest issue with the bike has been the awkwardness at low speed due to the seating position/height and i am thrilled to have that situation remedied! it has truly transformed the bike for me!! now if i could just do something about the fuel range
