I'm totally amazed at how people with different points of view can see things so completely differently.
You guys all think she just lied her ass off on stage for 11 hours, and we think she showed her questioners to be the buffoons that they are. I especially liked the part when Lil Ed Grimley leaped out of his chair and screamed for adjournment.....

Well, she walked away unscathed and will continue on her path to 1600. Personally, I'm feeling the Bern. It's a win-win.

Let's be totally accurate. We don't believe she lied for 11 hours. We know that the Democratic committee members received equal time and lead to at least 5 and a half hours of kiss ass and suck up. The lie that we now know she told and supported repeatedly was all I needed to hear. She is not trustworthy and leaves me to wonder what else is hiding and yet to be uncovered. To her credit, she is as polished a liar as I have ever witnessed. Maybe that should be at the top of our list of traits to be our commander in chief. I am not sure if you are serious in your views and comments or if you just want to stir the pot. Hillary did well under pressure but I think some cracks are starting to develop. She walked away an unscathed liar.

I am absolutely serious in my views and comments. Not here to stir the pot, but I suppose that's what you'll call it when every comment I make is met with 5-10 from your side of the fence. I've never been one to shy away from saying my piece. If that's what you call stirring the pot, I don't know what to say.

And do you really think, that after all the thousands of man-hours spent trying to find something on her,. ALL the MILLIONS of dollars spent trying to find something on her, how many separate investigations have been launched and found wanting? After ALL this energy spent trying to nail her to the wall, don't you think they would have found something? Don't you think if there was anything actionable, she'd have been brought up on charges? Jesus H Christ, are the Republicans that incompetent, or do they know that the whole thing was bullshit from the beginning? Oh wait, didn't the ranking member say EXACTLY THAT?  How many times do they have to prove that they are witless, bumbling, hateful fools?

I just don't know what to say. You do know what the definition of insane is, don't you?

You should all be happy. You know there's no way a Republican is going to be President for a long time, especially that bunch of clowns circling the big top. Hillary (or Bernie) is going to provide endless hours of teeth gnashing, eyeball popping, blood pressure raising outrage for you to rant to.

I think maybe you protest too much. You are driving a position that Republicans are incompetent, that the Republican candidates are clowns and that many who us will spend at least the next 8 years in turmoil over Hillary/Bernie. You write your remarks with such glee it's like the kid on the playground taunting the other kids because his side is winning. You are like a paid commentator on tv, you (they) would support Hillary if there was tape of her in bed with Putin and a goat and she was wearing a strap-on. If your son had died in the attack on the compound wouldn't you want to know the facts about what happened? The reason you get the 5-10 comebacks is that you never acknowledge the cracks in her armor. She was proved to be a liar to the point of telling one of the family members that she was going to get the person who produced the video that caused the attack. I guess you can reconcile that behavior as acceptable for our next commander in chief. Or maybe you think it's all a big conspiracy that the e-mail she sent her family and the communication she had with the Egyptian government was all faked by those republican clowns and Hillary was to polite to call them on it.

Hey how many tapes are out there ? The one I saw was Putin, The Donald, and yes she was wearing a strap on.  Grin

Well, I guess you're right. With all the voting rights being attacked, electronic voting machine manipulation, gerrymandering (Congress) and other games played, I suppose there's a slim chance they could 'win' the election. I think it would be easier though, if there was even just one candidate that was somewhat competent. We'll just have to see.

No, I never said that. I'm assuming you vote republican. Do you have access to voting machines to alter the programming? Are you an elected official, local, state or Federal,  with the opportunity to cast a vote? Are you a judge that rules on matters such as these? That's kind of a silly question, don't you think?

What I like about this election cycle is the field of candidates. Donald has brought so much attention to the process. The only difference between him and Hillary is that Donald can pay for his campaign out of his pocket and Hillary  strong-arms companies and foreign interests for foundation "donations". Oh, and that nagging lie she was caught in on national tv. Donald could be a good commander in chief but there is a lot of testing to be done yet. Carson brings a level headed approach to the process, still haven't learned enough to form a opinion about him. Carley is sharp and well prepared for the debates, I don't think she is strong enough to make a run but it's good to have her in the mix. Marco has been the dark-horse candidate for me. He is smart, he can think on his feet and I think he could be a uniter Jeb is a pretty well known quantity, you either like him or you don't. Chis you got to love because he tells it the way he sees it and he is good for the process too. There is still plenty of time for the others to make a run at the nomination if the money doesn't run out first. I feel sad for the Democrats as they have no choice. Hillary, I guess is satisfactory to the majority of democratic voters, but the rest have no choice.

So the process has a long way to go and it's going to be interesting to see how everything unfolds.

What has hillary accomplished ?  Since her dismissal in the Watergate investigation for fraud, lying and tampering with evidence, she has become an accomplished incompetent and an accomplished liar. She has continued to hone these skills over the decades. These are the 2 accomplishments I'm aware of and they are 2 pretty big ones.

I'm totally amazed at how people with different points of view can see things so completely differently.
...

And that is either the most unbelievable thing you have ever posted or it is an overwhelming statement on the quality of your capability of understanding.   Wink

People with differing points of view do see things very differently.  I stopped being amazed a long time ago at that.  One of the ills of a discussion, and I use that term loosely, such as what takes place here is the vast assumptions that people on the fringes in their rage tend to make.  "All liberal are for ..." and "conservatives (all implied) want ..." is too much the norm.  The truly committed to either of the primary opposing life views are actually a minority of the voting public.  Elections are strategized by attempts to draw the middle ground, uncommitted, voters to a particular candidate.  Those strategies are not accomplished by what we see a lot of here that is mostly pounding one's own chest, impressing those that already agree with the poster, or screaming, "Hooray for our side."

As to the talk of Hillary Clinton.  I believe that everyone knows she is a very accomplished liar.  That is not uncommon with either politicians or lawyers.  Lawyers are taught early on that one is only guilty of what can be proven against one.  If the person holding and practicing that viewpoint is on our own side we tend to see that as a strength, the ability to come out unscathed.  If the person practicing represents the other side we see it as despicable.  I'm reminded of Richard Nixon (God rest his soul) exclaiming, "I am not a crook!" and William Jefferson Clinton declaring, "It depends on what the definition of is is."

The Republicans will not win the presidential election by proving that Hillary Clinton is a liar.  Most of the people who have paid attention already know that.  A lot will defend it by saying she is no more so than someone else.

The recent elections have been much closer than the winners like to recognize, even the ones that were declared landslides.  I think there is a strong chance that Hillary Clinton will be elected as the next head of state.  Then again it's still a long ways to the election and this far back some eight years ago no one thought a junior senator from Illinois had a chance in Hell of being elected to the executive office.

I hold my hopes and I do believe that anyone who votes differently than I is obviously stupid, but the I also recognize that statistically about half the voters in this country are below average in intelligence.  Elections these days are won by whichever side can herd the ill informed and unthinking into the voting booth for their side.

You know how a famous fictional character like to say, "And that's all I have to say about that!"  Well it's not all I have to say about that but it's all I'mm going to type for this time around.   Wink

I would never call you dense. I don't even know you. I am not what would be considered a Hillary supporter. I may vote for her , I may not. It really depends on who is running against her and how the campaigns go. But even if I was a Clinton supporter it would be senseless and a waste of time and energy to try to explain your question. You have obviously made up your mind about her and no amount of explanation is going to change your opinion or have you get it.  Smiley

Bingo Wizzard, that is what I would like to know. What about her appeals to someone that wants her as their,(our ) President. You are right that you could never convince me to vote for her, I could vote for Uncle Joe before her, and I know there will never be a perfect candidate on either side. Just a few out standing qualities that qualify her to be the leader of the greatest country on Gods green earth. I, like John am part of the over 50 group, to be exact over 68 group. I have followed The Clinton crime family ( my one time indulgence in name calling ) and don't understand why anyone would want her near the oval office.

As I'm sure there are many who would never want some of the other candidates near the Oval Office.  Smiley I still think she has screwed herself with the private emails. BUT THE REPUBLICANS STILL HAVE TO PUT UP A VIABLE CANDIDATE IN ORDER TO BEAT HER. In my opinion some of them don't stand a chance.

Putting myself in another's shoes, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that other for the few true Kool Aid quaffing types the main thing she has going for her is that she's not an Evil Brand Evil Republican.

Same reason I voted for McCain and Romney. I was not a fan of either of them, but I saw them as the lesser of two evils. Nothing more, nothing less. I needed to bring an air sickness bag with me to the voting booth.

I'll admit, I think in a race of lesser of two evils between Hillary and Beelzebub himself it would be a tie but that's where that whole point of view thing comes in.

Yup in the last election there was a rash of voting machines that when you cast your vote for a republican they voted democrat.  They said oops programing error.

Guess I'll have to answer for Baldo since all we are hearing is crickets. It's not so much voting for Hillary as it is voting for the platform she represents. We have had our first semi black president and now we must have a woman in office. I don't pretend to understand that sort of thinking but I think for a lot of people it is the pride of saying "I voted for the first black president" and carry that around as a badge of honor. She and Bernie mostly talked about free stuff and all the things we deserve as American citizens. It's the government cradle to grave "we'll take care of you mentality that draws people to those candidates. Other than the republican party platform being viewed as ____________ you fill in the blank, that's all I've got.

I do not know Baldo and Meathead but I don,t think they are part of the  holding their hands out for free stuff crowd. That is why I am perplexed that neither will offer One sound reason as they see it for her to be president other than the democratic platform.  I think it would be easier though, if there was even just one candidate that was somewhat competent on the repub side is not one of her positive points. As you stated f6, crickets.

Specialdose, it's not that I don't want to state my opinions. I have stated my political opinions on here many times. It's just that this thread has become pointless and tiresome. No amount of discussion is going to get you to see why my politics are the way they are. I have stated my opinions about Hillary Clinton more than a few times but yet you still view me as her supporter. I'm not eloquent enough to get you to see my point of view. So.... Lets talk about our bikes.
I recently purchased some tank badges because my I/S is badge less. But I've always thought the Maidenhead doesn't show up well. I'm thinking of LIGHTLY sanding the raised head and the raised Valkyrie and painting. What do you think ?

While I do not know either meathead or Baldo either I still like them since they own the greatest motorcycle on earth and we have that in common.
That stated, I do not believe I have read here on this forum on any thread what it is about Hillary that impresses them and why they would vote for her. I do not care if it comes from either one of them,, I would just like to see what it is from anyone. I am still waiting as well as a few others. As far as being eloquent,, who cares,, we have thick skin.

I think we have come to a point, not such a good point, in this country when a lot of us are basing our presidential candidate votes not upon who is the one whom we like the best, but on who we think has the most chance of beating what we like the least.  I for one am not a strong supporter of the Republicans.  They're far too much to the left for my preference.  I do however despise everything, or at least almost everything, that the Democratic party has come to stand for.  I would identify strongly with a truly conservative candidate but would likely still vote for the Republican candidate just to vote against what the Democrats are putting forward.

I think truly that's where a lot of Hillary supporters stand.  It's not that she has a platform that pleases a lot of voters but that she has the machinery in place to beat what they hate the most.  Add to that she is a female candidate and she's going to be hard to beat.  In the last two presidential elections if one were able to carve away the votes Barrack Obama received just because the individual voters wanted to support the "first black president" then he would've lost both elections.

Whoever the Republican party puts forth they have some tough work cut out for them.

Isn't it always a vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Doubt that will ever change.

Meathead I am partial to the ones on my 98 Tourer but would like a pair of the European emblems some day., As long as what either of us prefer are on the finest motorcycle ever made. I got started late in life( three years ago ) and could kick myself in the butt for not finding my Black Beauty years ago. Having said that what I am hearing from some on here and here at home is they are voting for Hill because all the repubs are in a clown car so to speak. No one can give me one strong point about her. I can give you one of her and Bills greatest strengths. An absolute inability to feel shame or embarrassment. That being proven by Bill with Monika and Hill when she told that fat lie to the families at the casket ceremony. I bet the poor sap that was jailed, having his first amendment rights violated for the video want vote for her. I watched the video and it was lame at best. Hope your tank emblem  project turns out well....... crickets.

you know how the election is going to turn out? Your posts are a source of amusement for me. Thanks

LOL......are you implying that Hilliary is competent? What has she accomplished?
Of course according to the Hildabeast herself she claimed the millions of miles flying in airplanes as one of her accomplishments.

All I can say is you amaze me!  No one is asking you to change their opinion, or their vote.  We are obviously too dense to see the Hildebeast's good qualities and since we only recognize her as a lying POS, we are only asking you to tell us why you think she is qualified, or cite one thing she has accomplished that makes YOU(or Baldo) think she  is qualified to be president.  I suppose the "let's talk about bikes" ploy means you can't produce??

As to Hillary Clinton.

The world would fear us as the US would be lead by a woman with a history of being severely scorned and a reputation of being rather ruthless. So we'd be good on National Security.

And we should give her a chance to give Bill an ambassadorship to Libya.

You guys are wasting your time.  You'll never get a straight answer from the liberals on this board.

During the last presidential election, I tried in vain to get a liberal, any liberal, to answer the type of questions you guys are asking now.

I even asked the liberals at work.

All I wanted was to get an understanding of their point of view as to why they are a democrat and why do they vote the way they do.  I was just trying to understand the liberal mindset

All I ever got in return was a non-answer, no answer, redirection, deflection, straight up ridicule, blame the evil Republicans, pure hatred and venom......anything and everything but a straight answer.

You guys can keep trying if you wish, but you're just spinning your wheels.

I read this and I thought great! I'll just go and pull up his posts and find the pertinent ones and share my findings. You registered back in 2012 and you have over 6000 posts! An average of almost 5 a day for 3 years! Typical liberal ploy to hide the truth with a mountain of paperwork.  Grin Grin Grin

It seems if I remember correctly, Meathead prefers bernie.  But, I certainly don't want to speak for him as I may be wrong. It may be one of our other resident liberals that likes bernie and his $18 trillion 'freebies'.
But, at least likes guns.  So he does have one redeeming value.

Just to be clear, Comrade Sanders likes single shot hunting rifles and shotguns only, it seems...
