Steve (our server dude) said the server was getting bogged down with some old requests. He restarted Apache and said it was running much better. He then did some tweaking of the scsi hard disk.
Scott said he's been through the tweaks suggested by Serk a number of times. Ultimately, we really need to move, but it would be a huge undertaking because of all the archived files.

Serk, could you get your NSA guys on this ? I don't know what ya'll are complaining about, my personal NSA supplied cache of the forum is REAL quick and responsive!  Thanks to the behind the scenes folks keeping this ole' Harley running along as well as they can, I know it's a thankless job, ya' only get mentioned when it DOESN'T work... Been there, done that, have the therapy sessions to prove it... |
