yesterday i went and had a colonoscopy because in the back of my head i kept seeing the post about Thumper riding down the road with the thumbs up and all you guys urging us to get it done... I will not go into details but the prep wasnt bad at all, i drank crystal light orange with the powder and it actually was pretty good,, the hard part was getting hungry and not being able to eat anything but jello,,but i got threw it...
now in the hospital i had 3 of the prettiest nurses you ever set your eyes on but none of them wanted to go home with me... well i went night night,, and about 15 minutes later they woke me up and told me to put my clothes back on..
clean as a whistle and no polops,, he said he will see me in ten years,,, i want to thank all of you guys for pushing me into it to get it done, it was not embarrassing at all,,
so maybe i will see ya on the road sometime soon...

Pat was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer and left us a very short time after that. Thumper struggled in his fight with cancer for several years. I honestly don't remember what version of cancer finally took him. As to the embarrassment I do agree. If one's ass is as pretty as mine or yours there is no reason for embarrassment.

I understand the attraction to nurses. I've always been attracted to them, and even married one once. However, when getting the power snake up the old fuzzy bungholio, it's probably not the best time to be trying to get acquainted. This is not what we call our best foot forward. Which reminds me of a humorous story about my vasectomy, but I'll spare you. * Holy crap, do you keep those hands in the freezer or what?

Good for you, Jess. I'm glad your exam went well.
My theory is to never tick off the Endoscopy nurses. I figured they might stick a flower in my rear and point my backside to the hallway.

I'm jealous of you all on the "10 year plan." Had my first shortly after I turned 50. Found some polyps, so they put me on the "5 year plan." Went back a little after five years, and more polyps, so now I am on the "3 year plan." During the second scope, I actually came too before the scope was completed. It was still no big deal. Only the prep sucks.
P.S., I knew the nurse as we are friends at church (and had kids in school at the same time). Makes it a little harder to hit on the nurse.
