Thanks for sharing the ride, I hope the wind didn't detract too much...
The wind has been intermittently howling around here for several
weeks, it was shrieking in Raleigh during the afternoon on Thursday...

I see you have the "good style" OEM seat... you get along OK
without a backrest?

That seat is without a doubt one of the most comfortable I've ever ridden on. Don't need a backrest.

I also have the "other" seat that is not comfortable.

I also have a skinny little gun slinger thing. Need to put it on the classifieds.

Excellent pictures Britman. Seeing the views, food and drink should make all those who view this excited about the upcoming riding season.

I normally have a rear luggage rack with that seat.

I went on a 5 - 7 mile forest road jaunt and lost the rear bolt even though it was blue loctited.

My bag spent the rest of the trip smooshed on the luggage rack of friends BMW GS1000.

It may not be a Honda seat. There's nothing to identify the seat molded into the underside of the seat pan. No Name, no part number, nothing.

With the mystery seat mounted with the Honda passenger seat the slot for a back rest is hidden,  tucked away under the front of the passenger seat.

Thanks, Britman...I have the 99 OEM seat, and it is a bit uncomfortable. I ended up getting an 01 seat. Waiting for it to arrive.

Just an interim until a Russell DayLong finds it's way to me.
