7th.......I would take Trump over Justina ANY DAY!!! And that is not saying much! The amount of subverted at unreported news that goes against lieberal ideals is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! We are losing this country and I struggle to find a way to stop it!!?!?!?!?!

We have an escalating population of soft headed and uninformed basement dwelling socialists who vote for the promise of "free crap"...ultimately, when the leaches outnumber the contributors at the polling stations, kiss your country good-bye....and anybody who thinks that won't happen....stay tuned. |

Ya know, similar to this forum, I live in a country suburb. All homes are on 1/2 acre lots. So, there is some distance between homes. I know a few of my neighbors but not all and for the most part, don't really want to. We wave at each other as we pass on the street but, that's about it. Not by my own choice but, the wife likes it here and we all have to make compromises in life. Regardless, this forum is very similar to my neighborhood. I engage some of my neighbors in neighborly activities on some things and not so much on others. This is a very ethnic, religious and politically mixed neighborhood. Obviously, there is significant opportunity for conflict. The difference is, that conflict would occur on a face to face basis. The whole point of this post is to ask yourself whether or not you would espouse the same things face to face as some post on this forum. We're not really neighbors here but, the same rules apply (IMHO). It's also impossible to read body language so I may read a post and be frustrated or angered by it when the intent of the writer was not posted (or read)as intended. I try to keep that in mind when reading the forum but, after enough slanted postings, one begins to get a better picture of the person and that leads us to what is being inferred versus what is being stated. The little faces at the top of each posting can help carry the message. Some times I take somethings differently than the writer intended. Being clear and concise in what one means and is saying helps but, ask yourself if you'd say the same things in person. In many cases, I think not. There will come a time, place, point when we may all get together. Sure will be interesting if the same things are said in person. I'll try to take my own advice...................  |

I am "somewhat" holding my breath on where my country is going, and I am hoping that there might be a "qualified" and well grounded candidate with some "charisma" showing up on the Right, as charisma seems to be the guage for being a good electable candidate(and probably always has been) and I freely admit that Harper was sorely lacking in that regard!... I am hoping that the pendulum still has some momentum when such a candidate arrives on the right. |

You might like to go through the comments here, there are many uppercase words or short "BURSTS" of a few words where someone wants to EMPHASIZE something they have to say. Commenting in ALL or LONG strings of uppercase is different...it is considered YELLING and is bad form for sure. Re: the "Gavel" comment...and in your defence...opinions are like assholes...everyone has one....they are after all just opinions. |
