And yes oss was never afraid to let anyone know he is/was a long standing democrat. It is something he never hid and never threw in anyone's face. I admire him for that. The other thing I admire him about is that he is an independent thinker. And mocking him is over the line. Our office walls include pictures of JFK, a framed copy of his inauguration speech,  written notes from LBJ, a signed picture of Hillary and Bill from his first term... I remain a Democrat if only to vote against the erosion of the values of the party

That is why I am so vocal about the treachery behind today's Democratic Party as it has left me and millions of americans, not the other way around  The Republicans are not perfect either but in this case, well my position is clear.

Sometimes I think it's good to have someone like DaddieO around to post. It establishes a bottom level that everyone sees and recognizes. Even though it may be hard to understand, it's good to be reminded that not everyone thinks like the majority of us. That's why I try to watch Rachel Maddow at least 2 minutes each week!

I think you should seriously think about the signature at the bottom of your posts.     Let me preface what I am about to say . I have never met anyone on this board personally but feel as though I have met Oss through his post. There are things we do not see eye to eye on, but I have a respect
for him based on those post, agree or not. I have never met Daddie O. Not casting aspersions on him but it does appear many times he is derisive and likes stirring the pot. I can tell the ones wanting him band I do not agree but here is the best way with out getting our moderators involved. You can not argue with yourself, well you can but it gets boring fast. I had BOTH of my knees replaced seven weeks ago due to arthritis damage and 33 years of working as a auto tech. I am cuurently doing my therapy so I can walk again unassisted.

I am a fully ASE certified tech as well as GM certified.  If I wanted to go back to work as a tech I could in a heartbeat. I will be looking to do something else.
