New California Policy Opens Door To Illegal Immigrant Voting

California this spring will begin automatically registering adults who obtain or renew a driver’s license to vote, including potentially large numbers of non citizens and immigrants illegally living in the state.

This is when the government needs to throw out all California votes and take away all of the government money they get.

My wife and I both have family in Kalifornia. We will not be visiting them there...only at reunions that are held outside this Marxist State. We here in Alberta are stuck with a Marxist government for another 18 months...polls show a landslide Conservative shift next election   cooldude...not the same positive outlook about the pink shirt wearing 'village idiot' in Ottawa I'm afraid....  tickedoff

The spousal unit's in CA for work right now... I feel more comfortable with her jumping out of airplanes than her being in that lost cause of a state... Sad

Will be so relieved when she's back on free soil.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Saturday morning that the White House wouldn’t negotiate with Democrats on immigration at all until they agree to keep the government open, a statement she delivered just after most Democrats voted against a last-minute continuing spending resolution.

“We will not negotiate the status of unlawful immigrants while Democrats hold our lawful citizens hostage over their reckless demands,” Sanders said. “This is the behavior of obstructionist losers, not legislators. During this politically manufactured Schumer Shutdown, the President and his Administration will fight for and protect the American people.”
I sure like her!

Any one know his reasons?

Fiscal hawk, trying to get the deficit under control.

“I’ll be a no vote because I’m not going to vote to continue to put the country further into debt, What I would propose is that we spent money at the same rate we spent it last year, If you do that for five years you actually balance the budget in five years.”

I'd have to double check, but I believe he's voted consistently no on every continuing resolution since he got to the Senate.

Ibelieve you are right about that. Final hawk, for sure. Not your typical politician.

So it seems that President Trump's plan to wait it out and let the Senate hammer out their differences worked.

I truly expected all the Dems from blue states, including mine, to vote against the shutdown ending, just because, but what's with Rand Paul?

I don't know enough about him to understand why he would vote against all, but one other, fellow Rep Senators and a majority of the Dems.

Any one know his reasons?

He's always more interested in running for President than working with one, and he's never shied away from letting the political patient die if the "cause" lives. I truly believe he's more of a Narcissist than Trump, admittedly a high bar. If he were any more a, "my way or the highway" politician, he'd Chuck Schumer

I completely disagree . I think it's admirable that a Senator would vote his conscience and not follow the party line. We would all be better off if they'd all do that.
with y on this one for sure Meat.

Seriously, it's called posturing, and it's because he's still running for President. He wants to be able to say, "Looka me! I voted against the continuing budget resolution because I'M not gonna kick the can down the road or keep adding to the debt!" and it's perfectly safe, because he knows that's what was going to happen (and did happen) so it was perfectly safe for him to stand on his well-worn soapbox and keep himself pure. Had he been the nominee in the last election, I absolutely would have voted for him, I'm just being honest about what he's doing. My little corner of WI is dark blue, and my longtime State Senator Bob Wirch never saw a welfare-ish bill he didn't sign, or a tax increase for paying back the Public Sector Union campaign contributions he didn't declare "awesome". Until the current Republican Governor got elected, we had a Democrat one who promised no how no way would he sign any concealed carry law, making WI and IL the only States in the country without that right in some form. Sen Wirch is savvy and always campaigned and voted FOR every CCW bill that came up, so he could be like Rand Paul, getting easy political points. Thing is, Wirch never introduced a single CCW bill himself (or co-sponsored), nor urged fellow Democrats to vote for one, and never ever gave a speech from the floor urging his party mates to lobby the Governor. Like Rand, Wirch's vote was always easy, always meaningless, always great for re-election speeches. Only if the recent budget vote in the Senate had been a vote shy without Rand's yea, where he could have tied it up and the VP could've broken the tie, would we have found out how he really would have voted. Rand may feel he's a good enough of a doctor that he can fix it if he cuts off his nose to spite his face  Wink
