Just to be clear, this one is an ANTI-Serkle... The distance from Orlando to Roanoke is inside the green circle, thus the location must be OUTside of it.

Oh Wow!! You had me excited there for a minute. I thought you were saying Orlando would be Ground Zero. We do have a lot of nice clover leafs to get in the hills and curves.  cooldude
You'd have to have a vendor that installs tires at InZane to flip everyone's tires half way through the week to make them wear evenly.  coolsmiley

Good one Kevin!

Good grief, why would anyone want to come to Orlando in June, it's already running in the 90's most of the time....plus it's the beginning of the rainy season. As for interesting rides, we have many....most of which start in northern Georgia. You like water....that we have. Sinkhole leftovers by the dozens plus a big lake on each side of the peninsula. To tell the difference, we've named the east one Atlantic and the west one the Gulf of Mexico. Why the Gulf of Mexico I'll never understand, should be the Gulf of U.S. since we have more shoreline on it than Mexico.

In the end, let's keep the rally at/above the Mason/Dixon line, if for no other reason than to increase chances of tolerable summer weather. Connie, I won't mind the travel distance, I made it out to the first Frisco event with ease, thankfully I trailered across Kansas since it was in the upper 90's most of the way. Next year, if theres a drastic turn of events here, Inzane might merely be a stop on a rather extended solo tour of the U.S., time will tell. Till then....  cooldude

Wow. Of the 18 Inzane's so far, I have been to 14.  I missed the first one. Went to the second for a day and did the thousand Valkrie march to the plant in Marysville. Missed the third. Went to the following 5. Missed the second Frisco CO due to someone else getting that week off at work. Made both in Bellaire MI. Missed #12 in Eureka Springs. Made the remaining ones up to now. Although Spearfish was in a car because I broke my left ring finger the month before.  Have made many friends as a result of this motorcycle we call the Valkyrie AKA "the Dragon". Looking forward to making more......
Ive missed all 18!  Grin Did attend stuff at Marysville tho.

And yet we've still managed to meet, ride, and eat together!

Glad to know you, brother!!!

I know that the "corners" aren't ideal, but yous guys and gals are missing out on an amazing area of the country for roads, history, entertainment, weather, and probably the best sight seeing and people watching in the country.....  New York.

Pick a spot in the middle somewhere and within a couple hours in any direction is something more than worthwhile to get to.  And for those who meander there and/or back...... Forgettaboutit!

Piggyback on Americade week and it'll seem like the whole Hudson region is a bikers dream.

And OSS will pay for everyone!    2funny

Yup... California has some awesome roads, but I won't willingly go there either for the same reason.

No reciprocity with Texas, I won't be there.

I don't say that to be high and mighty or as a threat, and not trying to start yet another political thread.

Don't let reciprocity, or the lack thereof prevent you from enjoying New England or Northern California (State of Jefferson).

I get what you're saying, but I'd rather not risk my kids being raised without a father because I got tossed in jail for a simple possession charge, lost my job, etc. etc. etc. (Or something does happen and I had to be judged by 12 hard leftists with an activist DA out to make an example of that crazy cowboy Texan.)

That, and on a moral stance, I prefer to not spend money in states that have made it clear I'm not welcome there.

Anyway.

As far as hints.... it's probably within range for Serk to allow Vanna to pilot to the event.  No, not Serk's house.

So, just curious and not germane to this post of course, roughly how far, just a ballpark, is an acceptable range for a 16 year old with less than a year's riding experience riding a Valkyrie?

Totally off topic question that just popped into my head, mind you.

Serk, are you serious???

Not even a minute.  A valk is a pretty large bike to have a person that young riding it and so new to riding.  The question should be...how many times will it be dropped in the first hour.
Someone learning to ride should not be on anything larger than a 500cc non sport bike.

The first street bike my son Andy threw a leg over was my Valkyrie. He's got many miles and many states on his Valk and his 800 Monster which was his first bike now. My oldest Grandson recently bought a 650 V Storm as his first bike.

I agree with Serk and Fudgie. I will not go to a state that has disdain for any law abiding citizen that wants to carry a gun. I was packing in Roanoke. I fairly sure I wasn't the only one either.

The GPS tracker shows a location 686 miles from my house according to Google Maps.
(Or a route 685 miles but that would take 33 minutes longer.)

The location is over 5000 feet above sea level and has a very distinctive regional architecture.

It has an average high temperature in June of 81 degrees Fahrenheit, and around 1 inch of rain spread over the entirety of the month of June.

But of course, my GPS tracker has been known to be wrong before...

(I'm giving this one at best a 55% chance of being correct.)
