coolant lamp

hi, will the coolant lite come on key on engine off like the oil lite or only when there is a issue,looks like single wire to sensor so im thinking it will only come on when there is a problem. unlike oil lite on with key then off when running. thanks just want to be sure. 1997 valk ct, i installed after market tach and lites for oil pressure -stand-coolant

There was an extensive thread about this last week.  You should read.  Bottom line your temp light will not come on with the ignition if there is no problem.

You need to post a couple pictures of your tach mod
