After seeing the TPM system in a picture in a post Skinhead did about instrument bulbs,

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,104015.0.html

I purchased one and set it up. It monitors the tire pressure accurately within  1 or two psi. with alarm functions for high or low pressure. I really like it, good addition to the bike,,,  but I have a problem with the tire temperature function. It seems to be about 20 degrees f off, and reads six degrees differently between the tires when cold. I wonder if anyone who owns one of these has found a way to sync or setup the temperature function? I figured to try here first with "USA native citizen" or another knowledgeable owner.

I thought it funny the people who manufactured this are advertising in the "quick setup guide" for someone to translate it to English correctly.  I thought LA was hectic!

After riding several times, and getting this somewhat cryptic reply from a manufacture representative,

Hello Allen,

Please check the above review link from other customers, the temperature was 95f and 105f, the temperature was correct and normal, 75°F=(75-32)÷1.8℃=23.89℃
And the tire temperature is higher a lot than environmental temperature, because of high pressure and friction
Last, can you tell the environmental temperature on your side?
No need to reset and sync the monitor, hope for your idea.

I have come to the conclusion that this was a good purchase. It seems to be accurate most of the time on the pressure, and some of the time on the temp. There seems to be an extended update interval at times,,,,    BUT, overall I like it and find it useful.   still $52 on Amazon
