Curious, can anyone (Other than Willow) who's read the entirety of that writeup honestly say they had dry eyes the entire time? I'm still not through, but damn it's hard..... (And I only single out Willow not in spite, but because your..... empathy..... has been impacted in some ways medically, not as an insult.) I was able to read without tearing - but I read at a speed most people find impossible to believe . And that's at slow speed.... I read this article, took my time, didn’t get choked up, the write certainly put some good skill into it, tried to paint a very good picture. Unfortunately what got me was there was no discussion on medication being used...anywhere, whether talking about Italy or the US. Would have been good information, insight and direct knowledge if the hydroxychloroquine, ZPak , Zinc and IV Vitamin C were being used and the response rate. Exactly!

Kansas is extending to MAy 3, and the 4 core local Governements in KC metro are extending until May 15. Fortunately, nobody is saying you can't ride your motorcycle here (I'd tell them to send the ticket to the governor's office, as I'm not paying it).

And yet Sweden just keeps chugging along pretty much unrestricted, allowing people to SELF social distance, make their own decisions on where and when to go about their business. Their mortality rate is at 10% while ours is at 5%. Unrestricted Sweden has 11,927 confirmed cases w/ 1,203 deaths. Restricted the USA has 639,055 confirmed cases w/ 30,925 deaths. https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=sweden+coronavirus+update+today&fr=ipadThe time has come for us to open back up. We know we have the ability, capability, resources and knowledge of this virus to tackle it head on. The news is beginning to show several different states are having public protests. Protests against their rights, freedoms and liberties being restricted. We have the freedom to choose, we have the right to choose. We have the right to choose our own risks and determine our own welfare. If people don't want to work, stay home. If people are too afraid to go shopping, stay home. Too afraid to go to a park, stay home. No one will force you out of your home to socialize. Too afraid to attend religious services, stay home. Afraid to go to a restaurant, stay home. Put the criminals back in jail where they belong and let the people go about their business and loves to set their own destiny as we are allowed.

That is bull crap. If any members of the family were hurt or killed by the storm because they were not allowed to shelter, That local government entity should be prepared to get sued out of existence.

I won't be so bold as to say I won't wear a mask but I will tell you when I'm out and about and see a person wearing a mask I view it as an IQ label. Obviously that does not include people working around food or all day dealing with a myriad of customers across the counter.

I haven't wore one yet. If I'm required to at work, I will have to make a decision. To see the fear in some of our customers would maybe get you to lighten up on their supposed lack of IQ. There are many old people (and maybe some young) who don't do the Internet, who have a difficult time understanding this everchanging atmosphere. (Maybe)

I mean, TECHNICALLY since I've got local approval that my full face helmet counts as a mask, and I wear leather gloves while riding (I'd rather ride without a helmet than without gloves!) I'd kinda fall into that category too.....

I dunno. Is wearing a mask stupid, or not stupid? I won't judge. Surgical masks/ face coverings have been proven to prevent virus spread by containing sneeze and cough droplets. n95s are designed to help prevent inhalation of smaller particulates -- and are somewhat effective but probably not completely so as C19 is shown to be even smaller than their filtration. Doctors and nurses don't consider utilizing either to be a stupid precaution.
Would I wear one of my n95s in public? Probably not but it depends on the situation/crowd/perceived threat. If they were again allowed and I found myself in a large venue sports event or concert crowd, perhaps. Maybe in a very crowded grocery store, considering that our valley has one of the worst population adjusted rates in the nation right now.
I do look forward to vaccine development and full normalcy again. Until then I may not be masked, but I'll sure be careful.

my work where I need to go in (1 of just a few in) requires all in the building to wear the cheapo cloth masks so I reluctantly put them on to appease the boneheads in charge but as soon as I sit down at my desk I toss it on the desk. I ONLY wear it if moving around the office is all. They STINK and cannot breath too well in them and annoys the heck out of me will NOT be forced to wear one at my desk or am telling my boss and bosses boss I am leaving fire me or let me work from home like the other 99% employed there. For some reason breathing thru them moving around walking is not bad at all but as soon as I sit down not moving (guessing no wind movement), I find it hard to breath with it on. I just do not like wearing anything on me ever, especially in the face area, never owned a watch nor any jewelry and took me years to even get used to my wedding ring only piece of jewelry I ever owned. If someone comes up 5-6 feet away at my desk to talk, I put the mask on since feel the 2 older ladies in the office would prefer me to wear it all the time like they do leaving it on their face at least to drop back over the mouth/nose if wanting to speak to them around my desk area. I guess that is one way to avoid talking to coworkers do NOT wear your mask which was said to be required. My bosses boss and boss saw me not wearing the mask while sitting at my desk NO ONE else around me and did not say one word but told them which I do being if I leave my desk I wear it which is understandable I guess? What a waste if you ask me of masks tossing them away daily getting a NEW one each day in the office?

Everywhere for employees (or maybe everyone) inside public buildings, not necessarily outdoors.
My wife's uniformed security company (mostly indoors) would not allow any personnel to wear a mask on duty...... until they got enough masks for everyone (about three weeks in), and now they're mandatory. Though most all employees there are furloughed (except a very few essential). And all security is essential.
And she discovered that three full time employees there have died, though they tried to keep that quiet. Large federal bldg.

here in Nazi Jersey, the dictator (who said on fox news he doesn't care about the bill of rights) rules are a "covering" of the mouth and nose, must be used. the dust masks, bandana's, cut-up pillow case etc., are acceptable. From what I've read its just above covering so a person is not breathing out possible airborne particles of whatever from the mouth or nose into the public area.
so now one can walk into a bank wearing a face covering. So now antifa members can feel comfortable now, we want them to be happy.

Here is a CDC paragraph about results. I suggest you read it several times. “Positive [test] results are indicative of active infection with 2019-nCoV but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease. Laboratories within the United States and its territories are required to report all positive results to the appropriate public health authorities.” I’m going to blow past the blatant contradiction in that CDC paragraph and cut to the chase. The key line in that paragraph is: “The agent detected [the coronavirus] may not be the definite cause of disease.” BANG. CDC: Yeah, you see, folks, ahem, the test could say the coronavirus is there in somebody’s body, but the virus may not be causing disease… On one level, the CDC is admitting the test could turn up false positives: the test could SAY a patient has the coronavirus, but he really doesn’t. https://blog.nomorefakenews.com/2020/03/24/heres-what-the-cdc-says-about-the-test-for-the-coronavirus/https://www.fda.gov/media/134922/download

While that looks scary...I see it as good news. When they eventually get around to widespread antibody testing, they’ll see we have a large percentage of the population have had it and are immune.

Somewhat related to the above about the high amount of asymptomatic positives: Antibody research indicates coronavirus may be far more widespread than known Of 3,300 people in California county up to 4% found to have been infected. https://abcnews.go.com/Health/antibody-research-coronavirus-widespread/story?id=70206121
