I can't believe it's the middle of March and I hadn't done this yet?

Missed the Jan annual Tradex MC show. Here is what I have for the rest of the year.


I'll update this 1st post, as others add to the bottom more events for 2020.

It's been an annual event, Chuck Taylor from Taylor Automotive (N Van) has been nice enough to open his shop on a Sat morning for riders to have a dry place to work on their bikes together. He'll mount your car tire on your MC rim too, with lifts available. All are welcome

GW Duffy Lake Loop

Check the GW site, but I think it's a meet up at McD @ Lougheed and Boundary 7 am. 99 North to Lillioett, then back the Fraser Canyon.
I'm doing everything I can this year to go on this. I've been trying for 8 years now. Plan on 12 hour ride, but I think there will be a fast/med/slow group.

Apr 4th maintenance day, N Van.

I'm going to insure my MC and possibly the trailer for the day, and ride out to swap out my rear tire. Afterwards, we drive out for lunch and a day ride.

Rain or shine, I'll be going. Post ride will depend on the weather. Arriving before 8:30 am.

Anyone else interested in coming?

The Penticton Car Show June 26,27,28 has been cancelled on account of COVID-19 . 

I hate to be saying this, but, we'll need to keep an eye on developments to see if we can safely proceed with Valhalla. It's still fairly early, I know, but most major events this spring and summer are being cancelled .... just saying  How does everyone else feel ?

The problem as I see it , is that group riding in motorcycles is quite risky because the trailing bikes are exposed to the "breathing and spit "of the the folks ahead of them . If you doubt this, then ride behind a biker that is smoking a cigar . You will get blasts of sickening smoke in your face. If we proceed with the event, there should be some consideration to greater spacing and social distancing at all times . Food preparation and handling of utensils etc. could be a problem. Restaurants might be closed , etc, etc. .... and the border CDN/USA might still be closed .

Social distancing at a Valhalla...would make for an odd event for sure. Not sure they could go hand in hand. Fortunately there's not a lot of procedural issues related to cancelling or postponing the event... just cancel your room 48 hours ahead.
No one really knows, but I think there's certainly reason to think we'll be cancelling or postponing the June date . I say we wait until the beginning of May to make the call. Hopefully we may get a better idea  by then, and we can reschedule for September if needed.

Agreed, Let's hold on until the middle of May and see how this settles out. If the US/ Canada border is still closed that will pretty much tell a tale.

Of coarse it will open June 1st
