We Canadians are suspecting unless the border opens up, no person from the US will be attending.

Yes. As of last Friday, they announced it would stay closed up to and including Sept 20th.

There is no idea if/when it will reopen until covid settles down more.

So we can't plan later, plus the weather getting colder.

Valhalla is essentially cancelled this year.  A few Canuck  stragglers may show up at Johnnys in Grand Forks that weekend,  but there's nothing planned.
