That's great, gonna be a fun ride home I'm sure cooldude The one big regret I have with my bike is that I never went through with arranging to get that done when I first thought about it some years ago.

Jealous! Just as I get the bike I'd wanna have that done to and the resources to have it done, he stops taking reservations. Sad

Enjoy!!!

I'm headed out next Monday to see Bob, looking forward to the finished product...my bike will probably be the roughest one to ever see the inside of his shop.

Should be an interesting ride.....

I was in St. Louis for a wedding two years ago when mine was done.  I rented a car and drove about 6 hours to Tulsa, dropped the car at the airport, Ubered (first and only time) to the hotel near Bob, and he and Debbie picked me up.  I took the bike back to the hotel and headed for Cincinati the next morning with a lot more power than when Ron (Rams) dropped it off in January 2018.

Two days to get home but weather was very nice for that time of the year, late March.  Been loving it every since.

Take it easy while getting to know the bikes new found power.

I've been riding on the GLH package for over a year now and it still surprises me.

I was coming back to Colorado from San Antonio last week with a stay over in Colorado City, TX. After dinner I had pulled up next to a car at the only stop light in town, when all the windows in the car came down with compliments and whistles. After the light turned green they paced me through the intersection so I thought I'd give em a little show. I rolled on the throttle only to have my back wheel screeching Shocked. And I ride DarkSide!

I have also broken the rear loose in 2nd gear while on an on-ramp accelerating onto the interstate. It's very surprising when the rpm's go from 3,000 to 6,500 real fast.

cooldude  Thanks for the heads up. I was going to ask Bob a few questions of RPM expectations and speeds at or associated with RPM's in 5th gear if any. I know it's torque more than a horsepower increase.  Example: RPM at a needle under 3,000 rpm before I got there my speed was 65 mph. Just curious  and yes I will be cautious for sure. Not a long ride home, 800 miles but I'll make it a 3 day ride. No rush at all exploring and learning my new bike.  uglystupid2  smitten

This is all I could dig up.

To many variables like Calibrated Dyno, Manufacture, Correction, Elevation, Octane of fuel, Temps... to view this as a hard number though.
