I got the Eagle kit a while back and have been trying to install it today.

I've read some on the board about it, in particular Mello Dude's post...

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,113317.0.html

I got this el-cheapo Harley bracket to steal a beauty ring from...

I'm not sure if the instructions are full of typos or are just a bad
translation...

Anywho... after putting it together and taking it back apart
a few times, and getting the beauty ring on and drilling out
the mounting holes on the daymaker bracket and stuff, I still
have a problem with the headlight not being in "the right plane"
relative to the OEM mounting bracket... the headlight is cockeyed
in there... Anyone have any suggestions?

I installed the headlight and a combination of mooshing on the lens and
twizzling the adjustment screws got it kind of normalized in there... it looks
like it is sticking out too far, but it is pretty  much "the same" all the way
around. It has a good flat cut-off line on low-beam and kicks in a lot higher
on high-beam... So I've only got it adjusted for "doesn't look too whacky" now,
and still need to check that I'm not blinding people on low beam...
