Made reservation at motel. May ride to Clinton on Thursday. Met Joe, Reb, & Mitch in Trenton Ga last year was 28 when we left Buford and we rode north to Trenton did not get any warmer so if we start Friday at the Hardies in Clinton we won't have to leave so early.

Rams, I'll be there solo this year. If there's anyone else that's going solo that would like to share a room, I'd be willing to do so. Mississippi Spring Fling (a social gathering) is set. We now have a Ground Zero for all those interested. Dates: 1-3 April, 2022It's been a long winter and with all the different distractions, it's time for us to have a little fun. I have pre-arranged for and scheduled some great riding weather this year so, plan on it (but bring your rain gear just in case. Ground Zero will be Double Tree by Hilton and I have negotiated a discounted rate from their normal rates. This is an active weekend here in Hattiesburg, there are other events also going on here. Rooms blocked for this event: 20 Non-Smoking King Rooms
15 Non-Smoking Double Rooms
10 King Suites with pull out Sofa.
Rates are as follows:
$99.00 + tax without breakfast in their restaurant
$109.00 + tax with breakfast for two people per room
Reservation cutoff dates for these rates is 3/20/2022, after that any rooms will go for their regular rate of $159.00 + Tax and up.

Congratulations! You've successfully put together quite an event, and I salute you for that. Much has gone into anything like this that appears to the untrained eye to have been easy and just naturally unfolding. I also realize that others have played vital roles in making all of this come together, as well. Still, you are the driving force, the one person most responsible, and I am impressed!
I know, modesty and humility compel you to blush and minimize your own contributions, and to attempt to deflect praise towards others and/or other reasons. I suggest you just stand back for a moment, bask in the warm glow of success, enjoy the wonderful outcome, and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back.
Most don't realize what I know for a fact... That no one worries more, frets nearly as much, or tries harder to make something like this into a successful enterprise... I don't mind sharing an Uber to and from the restaurant, might could work out for those who don't wanna ride there and back... |

I tried to reserve the room earlier tonight but couldn't get a hold of anyone at the front desk. The reservation specialist (off site) told me to call back tomorrow during business hours. I will reserve the room tomorrow for sure. Let Larry know I'm getting the $109 per night rate so we can eat breakfast there. Also feel free to give him my number Joe, Is Larry already on the attendees list? I don't know everyone's handle/names so, he may already be on the list.
