If you get the type of TPMS with senders built into the valve caps, I'd only use metal valve stems. In fact the instructions warn against using rubber stems. Here's the TireGard sender. I have them on my Valks and F6B. Second photo was in NE Colorado on my F6B last Sunday. That rear tire gets hot when the temp is in the triple digits! No wonder they wear out so fast.

I’ve been using the FoboTire senders for years. They Bluetooth to an app and the best part is. Not having to crawl on the floor on my pre-ride pressure checks.

bluetooth to an app, must mean you need a cell phone, right?

An old post of mine.

I don't think I mentioned about the valve stems, but a good point. You shouldn't be using the rubber ones anyways. Replace with metal.

comes on sale, no cost shipping. Buy 4-10 sets, and give them away to your friend riders.

I use Garmin sensors with my Zumo 595LM
Unfortunately Garmin decided to discontinue support with newer Navi units (XT) but I’m totally happy with 595
