14-16 Rally in the Crater, Henderson, TX Good event, 7 bands, really neat venue (huge crater, with stage, vendors, games) in the bowl of the crater. Cabins around the rim, RVs, tents. Lots of neat stuff. Over 21 rally. Leaving Terrell at 4p on the 14th to ride down. Tent campin til Sunday and riding home.
23 Run For the Wall Bikers riding from Ontario, CA to Washington, DC to the Wall to call attention to the fact that there are still MIAs/POWs unaccounted for. They make a stop in Terrell. I am going to do a day ride with them. It is a hard, fast ride and not a place for rookies! But the cause is just and the method is right. Gonna have breakfast before the ride at the Yellow Rose (massive biscuits) and lunch at the Butcher Shop in Longview before riding home.
