Anyone on here used any of the easy/ghost/edge brackets with Hard Bags...If so, how was your final clearance (space between the fender and bag) due to the bracket...too much or looked ok? Thinking about going this route with some aftermarket Bags. Been using Leatherlykes..but they're about shot, I liked the easy off part though. Want to go to hard bags, but still have the easy off capability without mounting brackets being seen...Just worried how the spacing looks using these type brackets  ???...Thanks for any input.

Contact Warlock.  He's got a set of Mustang saddlebags mounted to Easy brackets on his blue and cream Valk.  Although he's planning on changing those out for a set of the stock leather bag mounts.  Here's a link where we talking about modding those mounts to make the Mustangs fit.

In that link, you'll see a black Valk with Mustangs mounted.  I remember reading when the fellow posted about his bags that he had modded a set of LeatherLyke mounts to mount his Mustangs.

btw......Personally and IMHO, I think that the Easy brackets make the bags off-set too much....they stick out from the fender too far and kinda don't look right.  Too much air between the bag and the fender.

Here's a pic of Warlock's with the Mustangs and Easy brackets.....

I don't have any pics, but agree with BF that the Easy Brackets make the bags sit too far from the fender.  I had them on my VTX, and the bags always looked sort of "tacked on," rather than being part of the bike, so I took them off and installed permanently mounted bags.  For as seldom as I took the bags off (never), that worked out fine.  Since you already have Leatherlykes, it would seem that you might be able to mod whatever bags you end up with to accept the Leatherlyke mounting studs, by installing rubber grommets on the bags.  You can even order new grommets from Leatherlyke.
