Ok, I have searched he archives and did not find the answer I was looking for.
I will be installing a Dan Marc this spring. The question I have is which one?
Looking at the list
http://www.danmarcrvparts.com/12vofuva.html of shut offs, I am worried about the small orifice's in the model 151 and 112. a .156 orifice and a .100 orifice seems very small to me. I know that others have used them successfully, but I still worry.
I have been thinking of using the AFC-161 instead because I like the fact that the inlet and outlet are at 90*, straight down from the tank, then straight to the carb lines should help with the kinking fuel line problem several others have had.
I see no mention of an orifice on model 161, so it seems that it is a full flow through the valve?
It is still the same electrical draw at 1 amp or less,
Plus, I like the fact that the 3/8 pipe thread will give a more natural flow, similar in size to the standard fuel line.
I am not worried about the cost difference because like most, when it comes to the Valk, only the best will do. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks, Jim
PS I will be changing the shut off, more on that later if my plan works, if my plan does not work I will go to the pingle.
