Hey SE.....no problem, I understand your position just fine, but its not me that you need to worry about. If you are right and Jesus was just a Man, then My whole life from 1985 till now has been a nice little religeous game. However, if Im right and your wrong and the Bible is true, it says that if you dont Honor the Son then neither do you Honor the Father. As you so easily disrespect Jesus Christ and deny his power, his diety his sacrifice (which was for you personally as much as it was for anyone else) then on the REAL day of judgement its Christ himself God even...sitting on the throne asking you to explain what you just said here........not gonna be as easy, but I respect your right to hold to such notions.........theres just not a good future attached to such a view.
No worries, mate. I'll take my chances. Folks get to believe what they want to believe. I'm fine with my maker. Great future attached to my view. Not one laden with a thousand years of church bureaucracy. Cheers.

SE, the fact is that you have no respect for anyone but yourself. Why else would you go out of your way to run other ppls beliefs down? Your just a sad little man behind a keyboard trying to inflate his ego with his sarcastic bullying nature. If you wouldnt say things to a persons face. You shouldnt do it on here. Its called respect for your ppl other than yourself.

In the first 5 books of the Old Testament the books of Moses it was extensively talked about how the Messiah would come what would be the signs and what would happen. Jesus fulfilled every one of these requirements to the letter without fault yet the Jews didn't believe in Him. In their book this was laid out so God was merciful and told them so the Jews were not cut out as you say. In fact the temple Vail was torn the dead were raised when Jesus died on the cross. People in that time began to see the dead they knew raised to life. You see there was so much power in what happened that day that the problem was not how to raise Jesus from the dead but how to raise just Jesus.
Christians are different from all religions in that no other person died on a cross for the forgiveness of sins. No other religion does the dead come to life and No other have the gift of the Holy Spirit which God says is the comforter. No other religion does their God give His Son as a gift you just have to accept the work He did and have the forgiveness of sins. No other religion states how the world began and how it will end , No other religion has been as correct for telling of future events No other person had the power to heal and over the elements that Jesus demonstrated
How is it SE that you dont know these things maybe if you admitted it then it would diminish a weak point. And you guys thought that I was being a bit strong
Mat 12:36 "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. Mat 12:37 "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

I just happen to not believe them and disagree with what your interpretation of Christianity is. I think it is bunk that the dead come to life. I don't think Jesus was God... he was a man... and therefore there was no 'gift'. The bible's view of how the world started and how it will end is a fairy tale. But in any event, lots of religions have a creation story. I'm sorry but properly twisted, any source, including the Sunday comics, can tell of future events... like the end of the world on May 21, maybe?

Then how do you explain the accuracy of 1 in 10 to the 19th power on the prophecies that were made in the Bible that came true. Thats a little better than comic books also I wish also you hadn't led on that you didn't know about the Jews and other things thats kind of egging people on

That's your oppinion and you are entitiled to it (which is a much greater courtesy than you extend to others). It obviously isn't working for you though. The evidence is in Your Post's on this board, you constantly come across as Angry, Miserable and Bitter. Most people seek a greater meaning for their life, especially as they get near the end of it. Whether you are ready to admit it or not, the law of averages clearly shows that you have many more years behind you than you have in front of you. For most people that would be "Food for Thought". Pride and Arrogance are dangerous things, Your post's show that you are extremely arrogant and usually that is accompanied by being very prideful. Could it be that your arrogance and pride will not let you admit that you need a Savior, that you need God? Sometimes I do let the things that you post make me angry, this is not one of those time. At the moment I feel sorry for you. Your Pride and Arrogance have you trapped and you can't see that. So I'll pray to my "Fairy Tale" God and ask him to help you become free.

Huh? I can guarantee you I am much more well read than you concerning religious history, particularly the formation of the three Abrahamic religions, but well read in Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, and the so called Anamistic religions... like native American spiritual practices. There is no accuracy to explain because the prophecies aren't accurate... unless of course, you are a Christian who picks and chooses the pieces to make things work.

Babylon, 196 miles square, was enclosed not only by a moat, but also by a double wall 330 feet high, each part 90 feet thick. Yet two Bible prophets declared its doom. These prophets further claimed that the ruins would be avoided by travelers, that the city would never again be inhabited, and that its stones would not even be moved for use as building material (Isaiah 13:17-22 and Jeremiah 51:26, 43). Their description is, in fact, the well-documented history of the famous citadel. US troops today have continued this by further destroying these ruins
Jews would one day return to the land of Palestine to re-establish for a second time their nation (Deuteronomy 29; Isaiah 11:11-13; Jeremiah 25:11; Hosea 3:4-5 and Luke 21:23-24). This prophetic statement covers 3500 years of history to its complete fulfillment—in our life. Also that the Jews would retain their tongue that had never happened before in history
So whats up with these well documented and prophesied about well before our time

I don't mean to pick on your math skills, but 1 to the 19th power is still 1. What prophecies are you referring to that were fulfilled? Please don't include self described fulfillment if the only reference is in the Bible, since it isn't an independent verification. Also, since many prophecies are extremely vague, please pick specific ones that don't require a lot of interpretation. I'm sure we would all appreciate it if you didn't simply quote Bible verses as proof.

The exact location and construction sequence of Jerusalem's nine suburbs was predicted by Jeremiah about 2600 years ago. He referred to the time of this building project as "the last days," that is, the time period of Israel's second rebirth as a nation in the land of Palestine (Jeremiah 31:38-40). This rebirth became history in 1948, and the construction of the nine suburbs has gone forward precisely in the locations and in the sequence predicted.
I also corrected the previous post stating that the chance of these events happening in the order without error was 1 in 10 to the 19th power dont want to look foolish The others as well as this are well documented there should be no problem.
Research it and see because I doubt either of you really know

What is "1 in 10 to the 19th power"? One in ten is a ten percent probability. Or 10 ^ -1. That's 0.1. 1 * 10 to the 19th power is 1 with 19 zeros behind it. 1 billion is 1 * 10 ^ 9, so you are talking a number that is ten billion times bigger than a billion. This sounds like a 'throwdown statistic' to me... designed to impress people who know nothing about statistics... after all, you cannot even express it correctly. How was this number derived? Bet you don't know. Why should I research it? You put it out... prove it up. But, let's look at a few big numbers. Number of stars in the milky way galaxy: About 3.0 * 10 ^ 11... a real piker of a number compared to yours. Volume of the ocean: about 10 ^ 24 liters. Grains of sand in the world (estimated) 7.5 * 10 ^ 18.

Jeremiah 31:38-40 states that a city (not a nation) will be built (not a second rebirth) from some tower to a gate (can't get much more imprecise than that!). It says nothing of a time, especially the Gregorian calendar year of 1948. There is no reference to "suburbs" in this passage. Since you say they are "precise locations", can you provide a reference to them? Maybe I should just ask it on Yahoo Answers, since it seems you did a copy/paste from it... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090404063014AAleL2D

I didn't get it from there and you really haven't read the Bible passages and it doesn't take the accuracy away and more importantly you dont know jack because your on the Internet looking this up and that goes for Mr SE too. Plus you really didn't refute it you just said it was vague because you wanted a quick answer instead of checking all the places they give you in the Bible. No matter what source I used the fact remains I already knew this. Im finished.

I guess negative attention is as good as any, eh?! Negative for him maybe.......but not negative if even one finds God because they rethought their relationship (or lack of one) with Christ. What about this type of negative response: http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20110524/sc_livescience/faileddoomsdayhasrealdeadlyconsequences

I'm not running his beliefs down. I'm asking why he thinks others need to hold his beliefs in order to be saved. He thinks Jesus is God. Fine. I don't. I think he is a man with a fine message, cut short in life. That's not running down his beliefs, that is stating a difference of opinion. PS: You can avoid reading my posts by not reading them. Since Christianity, like Islam, demand a blind faith in doctrines that can neither be proved or disproved, many people who follow these beliefs are easily manipulated, directly or indirectly.

I think he is a man with a fine message, cut short in life. That's not running down his beliefs, that is stating a difference of opinion. PS: You can avoid reading my posts by not reading them. This looks like a kind of tropical place......maybe Singapore.......I hope this isint our precious S.E. Now thats bad luck. http://www.breitbart.tv/security-video-shows-man-struck-by-lightning-twice/The real arrogance here, boys and girls, is you Christian fundamentalists/evangelicals who somehow find it necessary to pray for me, as though I am not meeting some standard you think is required to get into your version of heaven, according to your version of God. I frankly don't give a crap what you want to believe... I don't happen to believe it. And what do I get? At least two or three sanctimonious individuals who judge, and who conclude I need prayers to be made 'right'. And now this fellow 'humorously' introduces my fate because I don't believe in the crap he does. Screw you all. I don't care about your judgments and I damn sure don't need your prayers if they are going to turn me into what you are. Post some more videos. Tell me how I need to be saved. Pray for me some more. Explain to me why the spiritual God I know is insufficient. Tell me how all the Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and Jews are doomed. C'mon, you sanctimonious buggers... tell me how it is.

More of SE's " no personal attacks" mantra. Thank you for keeping it civil. "sarcasim font" SE, you feel free to repeatidly attack the beliefs and religion of others, but when the shoe is on the other foot, you go ballistic. Maybe if YOU quit attacking Christians, and their beliefs, you would get like action towards you. MP MP

Is that a 'personal attack' if I say you don't know the meaning of the words? I've attacked no belief. I've told the individuals who hold their beliefs that I have no desire to be included in any way, shape or form. And you see it as an attack. You'll probably see this as an attack. You logic skills are seriously wanting.
