i hope it does happen.  some of you may know i've got an A-hole brother that lives in Phoenix, he's one of those guys that believe that stuff.  funny thing, he's also the same guy that mortgaged his house to the gills, then walked away from it all.  i guess, if you believe all you've got to do is say "jesus forgive me" and all is good, then stealing from others isn't a big deal...

It wouldn't surprise me that I may know more about Christianity, it's history, evolution, adaptation, modifications, and variations than you.

I will ask why did you get this knowledge to learn to be a better Christian or to batter those that are. I will also say this that you may indeed know quite a bit as I have found in the past. I don't get it.  I'm 13 hours ahead of Houston time... Now 7:30 PM on Saturday.  Is this rapture thing just happening in the US?  What about the rest of us in the rest of the world?  I'm still on the ground, still have a good single malt in front of me.
 
Please do let me know what happens in the next few hours... I may need to fly over and re-rent my house... my tenants will probably be 'raptured'.

So I gots me 1,000 rounds of .22, 400 rounds of 12guage and 200 rounds of .223 stacked next to each window.

Unfourtunitly, this isn't the first time Mr Camping has called the Second Coming. In 1994, hundreds of his followers gathered in Alameda to await Christ's return, only to have to sheepishly go home when the world failed to end...!




Mr Camping predicts that the world will end at 6pm local time in whatever part of the globe you happen to be.

the thing about earth quakes is that we have the ability to record EVERY SINGLE ONE!!  then you get those people that capitalize on the news of them, saying "THE END IS NEAR!!  REPENT!!!"  when in reality, we have just as many earthquakes now, as we had back then.  it's just that, now we know they happen SO often.  we report earthquakes that happen in the middle of the ocean, places were no one even lives!!

But, the world as we know it will end some day.

This is the one thing that scientist and religious leaders from all over the world agree upon.

They only differ on what the cause will be.

Life on this planet has been drastically alterted many times, Remember when those "pesky" Dinosaurs ruled the earth?

Then along came a "little" ole rock from outer space and all of a sudden their world changed so drastically that they became extinct.

So sooner or later those "pesky" doomsday sayers will be "right".

It's kinda like if the weather man says that it's going to rain everyday, sooner or later he has to get it right.

Mine got it right. Now it makes sense.

Thought it was happening here....My power went out at 17:00. "Back by 19:00, 900 customers affected!" says the APC. (Antiquated Power Co.) Later, it was "Back by 22:30! 3000 customers affected! Have a LOVELY day!".
So, sitting there in the dark, generator howling just to run the sump, I'm thinking... yeah; right.

Anyone wonder - is it possible that we're all still here simply because nobody was found worth rapturing? (Mind you, maybe that old fart got raptured as nobody's heard from him.)
Think about it. Perhaps the troops from the Apocalypse Branch, Rapture Division, did swoopeth down, looked around and found no likely clients, gave a collective shrug and returned to the office. Bummer.

The Church will be raptured.  OK, I can see where to those that believe otherwise it sounds like foolishness.......thats scriptual, that it would seem foolish to those that dont believe.  But just think if we're right and someday you wake up to find the Christians are all gone.....it wont be nice back here then......think about it, ask God to prove himself to be real to you.....he will.

Two things that the Bible tells us about the end times are:

No One Knows when it will happen (except God).

But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels of Heaven, but only My Father.  Mat 24:36 (MKJV)

And

There will be many "FALSE" Prophets.

And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.  Matt 24:11 (MKJV)
