...again if they built something like this:

I was going through some old pics today and came across that from a few years ago. It was of a Honda concept bike that may or may not have made it to the Japanese market. I thought (and still think) it was tits. Honda currently has nothing exciting in their lineup but THAT I'd put money down on.

Not coincidentally, Suzuki had a couple of similar bikes (based one the old GS air-cooled motors) that did make it to the Japanese market and sold well over there.

This would be my dream bike.  Production plans for 2009 got scrapped.  Keep dreaming, right?

I'm with Fudd.  The EVO6 would have been too cool.

The EVO6 definitely caught my attention, but I lost all interest in it when I learned it was going to be available in an automatic only... Of course, now it won't be available at all, which is sad as well... Kinda thinking Honda's just given up on motorcycles, and is content to keep pumping out scooters, zip-splats and Furries... =\

What Serk sez.....  Honda kinda left me after the Valk.....but there are options.  Just need enough money to keep building the stable....

I dunno - I kind of like THIS one, and as long as there are low mileage bikes, and parts available, I'll have one of these...

I guess its a matter of  personal taste, but, to me, that is one butt-ugly bike.

Looks more like a crotch rocket tickedoff than anything else and I'm an old f@rt cruiser type from waaaaayyyyy back. cooldude

A GL1800 w/o the tupperware? I can't think of any... Would the Valkyrie Rune meet your definition? Undecided

Sorry! should've explained it better. There are pics here of a GL1800 that was converted to a Valkyrie-ish state with VTX 1800 bits I think. I'm no good with the search thing, so hopefully the pic will pop up.

That bike is a one-of-a-kind wrecked 1800 Wing rebuilt and customized by our own Joe Gordon of Indiana.

See, I'm the other way around. I grew up racing motocross and cross country. The next logical step into streetbikes was crotch rockets and I came of age during the original GSXR/GPz days. So to me these bikes are somewhat representative of my youth.
