Removing the bezel....
http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,35057.0.html

Got the bib on.  Took less than 30 minutes.  Looks real nice IMHO.  The main reason I wanted it was to have a place to anchor Gerbings dual controller for my jacket and gloves.  See what you think....

Just added some scratchy velcro to the controller and folded the bib cover inwards.  Not sure
what I'll do if it rains but that's another story...  Steve

I was thinking you where going to palce the controller inside the pouch.

If all you had was leads, with a little cut on the bottom of the pouch, could you place the cords through that, and have the controller at the top with the flap protecting it from the weather?

Looks like you could tuck the cords under the seat, as long as it doesn't press against the wires and wear them through and short out.

Yes, I might make a cut in the bottom of the pouch and slide the cords and controller down through them.  Still thinking it out but that is a definite possibility.  Just hate to cut into things, you know?  Steve

Put velcro on the outside of the controller. Then the flap will stick to the outside of the controller and cover it partway. I think those controllers will stand a little rain and weather. cooldude

I got a belt cell phone holder from the grocery store and whacked it up
so that the controller fit in there - maybe some zip-ties were involved  Wink

Anywho... the belt-clip hooks onto the bib-bag-flap...

Seems to work... and no cutting up of the nice tank bib...

I was wondering why I haven't seen more Valks with the Boss saddlebags. I have them also and I think they're the best leather bags you can buy. Nice bike.
