Cry My condolences to Pat's family and friends.

My wife and I met Pat at the Ultimate Seat booth at Sturgis 2010. I was having my seat repaired, he walked up introduced himself, handed me his VRCC business card. We talked for at least a half hour. He then took our picture in front of my bike for his Sturgis trip album. Nicest most outgoing guy I have ever met.

He will be sadly missed.

I shared a room and some wind with Pat at the first Frisco Inzane.

He aslo took the time to go check out my ST1300 when I was contemplating buying it.

After reading Pat's posts on the board, I had the privilege to meet both him and Deb at InzaneX.  Both people are top notch.  I can not begin to convey how sad this news makes me.  Godspeed Pat.  May the tank on your heavenly valk always be full, the tires new, and the splines lubed.

Deb, I am SO sorry.  I'll keep you both in my prayers.

Prayers to Deb and family.  I was lucky and am recovering from a September prostate cancer operation. Operation was 100% successful and no posttreatments required.  I had the coloscopy done immediately after and was clear. First coloscopy in my 61 years.  I urge all of you to get this test done as well as a blood test to screen for prostate cancer at age 50. Colon cancer also affects females so do not take for granted it is  a male thing

Very sad news indeed. I met Laser Pat at the last Inzane in Johnson City, sat with him, Texas Deb and Frisco Dave. Only met them once and was blessed to spend time with them. Honestly, was the only Inzane I was ever able to attend, and I was sincerely hoping to make another and finish up our great conversation. Deb, I do not know the pain you feel right now, but I will pray for you and all Pat's loved ones at this difficult time.
Godspeed brother Pat,

Oh my... where to start.  Pat so many love you and miss you.

I had just sent him an encouraging email just a few weeks back.  Then I get a text message that he passed.  Words can't describe the feeling reading and digesting the message.  Pat brought such a light to a room when he came in.  I will never forget the times we got to visit at the InZane's.  So kinda and accepting to all, a heart to love.  I will miss him dearly.

I have an uncle fighting for his life with cancer now and it isn't the best of situations but it allows you to appreciate the time you have with them.

You will be deeply missed my friend.  With much love, Rest my friend as the Lord has called you home.  One day we will be able to ride in the wind again.  Deb my prayers are with you and all the family.

Love,
Joe.    Cry

I don't even know what to say -- Pat & Deb have been part of our NM Tucumcari family from the beginning --- he was always a pleasure to have around.

Life is so short -- and every day so precious.  Pat rest in peace my friend -- you will be dearly missed.   Undecided

Deb you're in our prayers

This took my breath away. I just rolled in today ( Phoenix ) from Texas and had talked twice on the phone with Pat Thursday and Thursday night. He had offerd me a room to stay if I was in the area, but the weather had turned sour and I changed plans and headed back west. He did mention his chemo but said he felt good. I did tell him that I would be thinking of him and lift him up in prayer. I was so close to meeting him in person, but feel blessed that he reached out to me with a PM and had an oppertunity to communicate. Continued prayers for his family. God Bless

As I read all of these posts, I am sitting in my laboratory at the hospital for which I work.

Opinion: Get yourself checked out; it's a nasty disease, but curable if detected early.  Do it for Pat.

God speed, Pat, as you are now excused from the trials and tribulations of life on the planet.

Like everyone else... I am stunned and saddened.

I don't believe that a bunch of posts on a motorcycle forum could be of much solace... but I offer my sympathies along with the masses.  I don't think I ever met Pat in person, but I feel a little poorer for that lost opportunity.

Rest well.
