Probably eating or getting a process. But I'm not sure what that has to do with this attack. The alleged perpetrators are locked up where they should be (assuming they're guilty).

Makes me wonder why anyone would live there and not be prepared to defend themselves. CCP/W or not, I'll not be a victim or I'll at least take a few with me.

Simply appalling, that driver had him dead to rights twice and didn't hit the gas. It's a shame, could have been one less idiot on the payroll.

Can't believe the driver didn't mash him, clearly their lives were being threatened. As far as his tirade, I guess we don't speak the same language, the only thing I could understand was "U know what I'm saying?".

I could not imagine how how stoned that guy in the video was. He's lucky to be alive most Likly his luck wont hold out much longer. As far as the hammer attack you just can't bundle bad events togather. Glad they are in jail.

Good thing the victim didn't have a gun to defend himself. We would never hear the end of it, having two more innocent children dead in the streets.

Righteous shoots happen regularly and they don't make national news. Just read your issue of American Rifleman and you'll see. These things have nothing to do with each other.

What they have to do with each other is the proximity to the previous attack which would tend to protray a cultural or demographic anomoly within a specific geographic area. As I said previously, I wouldn't go there unprepared to defend myself. There are parts of Detroit I feel the same way about.

Shees. I hope that doesn't happen to me. Had I been in that blue car, the video would be half as long and the perp would be laying in a pool with a double tap of .40JHP's in his chest. Then I'm sitting in the hooscow with Sharpton and Jesse rabble-rousing outside.

I think that in a case like that you'd be justified in killing him even if you were a bystander, at least here in NH. It only takes one swing of a crowbar to kill someone who just happened to be going about their day and you'd have a very hard time prosecuting a shoot under those circumstances. In Massachusetts? Maybe not.

I seriously doubt it would have been viewed as a "righteous shooting." Let me give the headlines a shot: WHITE MAN SHOOTS TWO MORE UNARMED BLACK YOUTHS. The only reference to the "hammer" would be, that the young men where possibly carpenters.

I'm certainly considering buying a pistol for concealed carry now legal in WI. More and more of the riff are getting out into the country from the big cities and all it takes is one hit to me or my family and I have a right to cap him/her. Crazies are amongst us all unfortunately.

am i racially profiling as it seems most of the folks on the thug report are people of color? Am I profiling the sun when i say its yellow? Facts are facts. The resons may be different as to why and society has to man up to some of the disparity that "may" push one to do something they may not necessarily would have done if they were treated as we would all want to be treated. That being said, we all have reasons to not like something that happened to us, but we didn't resort to violence.

I would have mashed him with the car, or at least tried that first. It's a small car, maybe even a "Saturday night special" type of car which should probably be banned anyway. And, even with the windows busted out, shooting from inside that car might have further damaged my hearing. You can't be too careful. Truthfully it would have been hard to know you were taking a safe shot in that circumstance. Bullets are sometimes badly deflected by glass and you wouldn't want unaccounted for bullets soaring around in such a populated area. From a truck, shooting from a higher elevation it would have been a slightly safer shot. Even a poodle shooter such as I normally carry could have blown on through him and hurt a bystander. I guess if I was frequenting such urban areas I'd spend the extra cash for the "no exit" type of defensive round. They probably wouldn't have penetrated the car glass though.

You people are all missing the point here,
SOON, there will be a national registry on all hammers, you will only be able to carry one while in pursuit of your occupation as a carpenter, any other use will be illegal. After all, the hammer is now responsible for the beating of that man, so it must be outlawed!

My daughter, a black 17 year old, said the exact same thing. We were having a discussion about this whole thing and we both agreed that this entire thing IS racial! It is racial because Trayvon WAS looked at suspiciously because he was a young black man. Not because Zimmerman is a racist person, or the cab driver, or the police officer was racist. Trayvon was the victim of racial profiling because there was a recent history of other young black men committing breakins and robberies in that particular neighborhood. Should they have been on the lookout for older white men or hispanic women? In our society, for such a small percentage of the population, black males (about 5%) commit the vast majority of violent crimes. And until we all accept this and fix this, instead of not being allowed to even talk about it, it will never change and black men will continue to be looked at with distrust and fear. My daughter asked questions during our conversation like: Why is the black girl talking on her cell phone the loudest one on the train? Why do a group of black kids have to draw all attention on to themselves in the movie theater? Why did black people choose such a vulgar way of speaking English? Why do so many black women choose to have babies out of wedlock and with multiple men? She went on to say that people from other races view these as a disgrace that they are perpetuating on themselves and that the change has to come from within, but so many within the black community choose to honor and emulate what is wrong and not what's right. She's so brilliant and I'm so proud of her for understanding that it is these insane behaviors that need to be addressed.

G-man,,,,,,,,She is correct. Never in the history of mankind has a people gone from slavery to positions of prominence. 150 years here kids. Obama dosent count here because he dosent come from a slave past. The fact that these folks continue to profane the dreams and visions of those slaves 150 years ago is pathetic. They dont teach real black history. I have yet to hear of Nat Love or Henry Flipper from the Justice brothers.

do u mean the history of tribal africa and that the stronger tribes actually sold the weaker tribes who were already slaves to the stronger tribes to the white man? and that this (slavery) still goes on in certain areas/countries of africa?
